Legendary climber (road cycling) Federico Bahamontes - winner of the Tour de France and many mountain classifications - has died at the respectable age of 95, the Eagle of Toledo has stopped flying :(

Helen Smart (formerly Helen Don-Duncan), British swimmer at the 2000 Olympics and World Short Course Championships medalist, died on Saturday at the age of 42.

Longtime IWGA Secretary General Co Koren passed away. He was also an important official inside the sport of Tug of War.

Very sad story here.  Alexandra Paul :CAN   age 31 dies in an automobile accident.  She competed in ice dance at the 2014 Winter Games.
