Today Brazil and USA women's teams returned to the Maracanazinho Arena for a friendly match. Not the best memories for both teams considering that exactly 2 years ago USA lost the Rio 2016 semifinal there (and Brazil lost that quarterfinal match two days earlier). Anyway, Brazil lost ALL 4 friendly matches against USA this week, not a good sign for the coming World Championship...

 

The best part was a tribute to the 2008 Olympic champion team, with many of the players from that gold generation. Today, only Thaísa remains playing for Brazil (she isn't in the picture because she was preparing for the match today), even though some of them are still active in their clubs.

Rwanda qualied to women's junior WCH for the 1st time in history after defeating Cameroon 3-1 in Semis ,they'll take on Egypt in the final , as We defeated Nigeria 3-0 , much surprisingly the host Kenya ended 5th
