Congrats to South Sudan, always nice to see that kind of a story. Luol Deng has did wonders for them. I have massive respect for people like him and Dončić who go back to its roots even though they don't get nothing in return financially.

Yes so unless Iran makes a comeback the teams which advance to the OQT are plus the 11 teams in the second round which don't get an Olympic quota.

I wasn't expecting much from this World Cup. we shouldn't even qualify (we did only because AUS forfeited the game in Tehran)

still we should beat CIV with better officiating and LBN was also beatable. but that's OK it was more like "let's have fun" kind of tournament for us. 

 

but our best basketball player ever announced his retirement today , despite being old, injured, tired etc he never turned his back to the national team. he was our Luis Scola (the player I admire the most)
