1st medals for Bahrain and Serbia today take the overall number of nations with medals to 72, more chances for Philippines and Austria to win their firt medal in Table Tennis bronze medal matches later today and Chinese Taipei have a chance in the Women's -79kg Powerlifting.

 

The record number of nations to win a medal at a Paralympic Games so far is 76 in Beijing 2008 (75 nations won medals in London 2012 and Athens 2004).

 

Other nations with chances later this week include Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sitting Volleyball), Sri Lanka (Athletics), Rwanda (Athletics), Angola (Athletics), Bulgaria (Athletics), Peru (Athletics), Chile (Athletics), Senegal (Athletics), Iceland (Swimming), Syria (Athletics).
