14.766 the lowest pommel qualifier in the end. 6 men with 15.000 and above.

I won’t be able to watch the final after Tokyo

Pommel horse like the balance beam is just too nerve wracking if you've got a stake in the outcome. On both apparatus it always appears they're on the edge of disaster.

Still I think Khoi Young not getting in to the team is a big mistake.

Probably, but the bet on Nedoroscik has worked so far (probably their only chance of a medal in MAG). Let's see in the final...

Aurel Benović is in men's vault final (3rd in qualies)!

Such an inspiration. He is 24 now. His mother suddenly died last autumn and father died when he was a child. Besides, he had an injury and could not go to Worlds 2023. After that he had big psihological problems. He thought about career end. He had 4 qualification tournaments to be in top 2 on the floor (his best discipline) to qualify for olympics. Before the last tournament,he should be in top 2 and wait errors from opponents. He qualified for Olympics. In 3 months, vault has become his better discipline. Now,he is in olympic final!🇭🇷💪🔝🙌

As expected, lots of shocking results. The biggest ones for me were :JOR Al-Soud not making the pommel horse final, and :LTU Tvorogal missing the horizontal bar final. Quite sad, also, because they were their countries' best-ever hopes for a medal in gymnastics. Yulo not being able to qualify for the parallel bars final is also a big surprise, as well as Mariano on the horizontal bar.

Some of the qualifiers, though, are very special, especially :IRI Olfati on vault, :COL Barajas on both parallel bars and horizontal bar, :CYP Georgiou on the horizontal bar, :KAZ Karimi on floor, :CRO Benovic on vault, and basically everyone on the pommel horse (seriously, they are all special for one reason or another).

I think we'll witness the first-ever medal (or medals) for :PHI and :IRL, and maybe :KAZ or :COL

Top 3 are US , i dont beleive ...stop cheating

It must be cheating just because the first 3 are americans, right?

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
    • The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
    • After looking at the entry list of athletes in the official website, I've changed some of my predictions in the Olympic events with these changes:   Total Tally: Thailand 87, Singapore 51, Vietnam 48, Indonesia 33, Philippines 24, Malaysia 22, Cambodia 1     Badminton (5): Malaysia 2, Thailand 1, Singapore 1, Indonesia 1   Men’s Singles: Switched from Thailand to Singapore     Boxing (11): Thailand 8, Philippines 2, Vietnam 1   Men: -54 kg (-55 kg): Thailand, -60 kg: Thailand, -63.5 kg (-65 kg): Thailand, -69 kg (-70 kg): Thailand, -80 kg: Philippines   Women: -50 kg (-51 kg): Thailand, -54 kg: Thailand, -57 kg: Thailand, -60 kg: Vietnam, -66 kg (-65 kg): Thailand, -70 kg: Philippines     Sailing (7): Thailand 4, Singapore 2, Malaysia 1   ICLA 6: Switched from Thailand to Malaysia     Taekwondo (8): Thailand 6, Vietnam 2   -67 kg: Switched from  Vietnam to Thailand     Weightlifting (5): Thailand 2, Philippines 1, Indonesia 1, Malaysia 1   Men: -65 kg: Malaysia, -94 kg (-95 kg): Thailand   Women: -53 kg: Thailand, -69 kg: Philippines, -77 kg: Indonesia   * I saw that they have actually change the weight categories to almost match that of IWF newly introduced categories from several months ago.      Wrestling (12): Vietnam 7, Philippines 3, Indonesia 2   Men's Freestyle: -57 kg: Philippines, -65 kg: Vietnam, -74 kg: Vietnam, -86 kg: Philippines Men's Greco-Roman: -67 kg: Indonesia, -77 kg: Vietnam, -87 kg: Indonesia, -97 kg: Vietnam Women's Freestyle: -50 kg: Vietnam, -53 kg: Vietnam, -57 kg: Vietnam, -62 kg: Philippines
