Favour Ofili has announced the Nigerian Olympic Committee has failed to correctly enter her in the 100m. She is due to compete also in the 200m.

What a shame,  Jogailė Petrokaitė who was the first person under qualification line (33rd while 32 qualified), just found out that  received disqualification, but WA decided not to award Lithuania with the spot and instead only 31 jumpers will compete  Basically one cheater destroyed Olympic dream for Petrokaitė

Adeleke won’t run in the mixed relay to focus on the individual so that rules Ireland out of a medal tilt in the relays. Disappointing as we come in as European champions but it is what it is, the schedule threw up a headache and there was going to have to be a sacrifice somewhere. Would have liked to see her subbed in if we made a final (though would be a tough ask without her) but seems like that’s been ruled out as well:
