Legitimate argument that USA won't have best 3 players in the tournament Jokic, SGA and Luka probably better then anyone USA will field. Wade, James and Anthony were rookies in 2003/2004 season. That team had only one all nba player in prior season: Duncan. Nowhere near the top team they could send. Maybe they won't have the best player in a hypothetical match vs Serbia IF Jokić plays and that's a big if, but they'll have 12 next best players.
