Looks like the Russian men's pursuit team may be out of the Games, as three of its members were mentioned in the McLaren report. What will happen?

If Russia will be disqualified Italy have a big chance to compete in Rio.

Actually Italy is in 10th position of the ranking and 4th in London at 2015 World Championship

GB again winning out of nowhere at the Olympics... This is getting old.

I agree, this is very worrying. They were absolute shit in team sprint all the years and now they ride an olympic record out of nowhere. Also interesting to know: Their (german) coach in mens team pursuit said that they already did a world record in training ...

Half a year ago they won 2 golds, now they will probably end up with 6-7 golds again, this is just ridiculous. On the other hand it makes perfectly sense if you think about the british dominance at the Tour de France + Armitstead.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • I wonder where Romania thinks they got their second quota from then. And no reallocations at all would suggest Germany pulled back their turd, as we'd so eloquently say in Dutch, and did take them all at the end..
    • I asked a Polish journalist on twitter and he said there are no rellocations.
    • She was selected because she had enough good results that could compete in all events but had a little less FIS points than Sawicka, additionaly Sawicka's father was mad of that and he make intervention in our skiing national federation, due to this Komorowska gets very negative comments and she decided to withdraw because she couldnt handle it and said that her mental health is more important than Olympics participation.
    • and now when it is official and they already cnfirmed it, they are so scared that they still did not anounce it to the general public yet
