Who knew that Team GB had resurrected their water polo teams!  currently beating  in their first qualifying match. Let's hope they don't throw it away like the British basketball team did when they were up against Germany.

The Women have been excellent recently, wouldn't be surprised if they're quota ready by Brisbane or even LA.

Apparently the WP Euros will have a new format. There will be two divisions.

 

Division 1 - 2 groups of 4 teams

 

Top2 of the 2 groups (4 teams) qualify to the Quarter-finals, the other 4 teams will be in the Play-offs

 

Division 2 - 2 groups of 4 teams

 

Top 2 of the 2 groups (4 teams) qualify to the Play-offs, the rest are eliminated

Draw was held today with the new tournament format, that @Vektor explained above. This will be the first time women's tournament will have 16 teams. For play off matches to qualify for the quarterfinals, teams from group A will face teams from group C and teams from group B will face teams from group D.
