Hope India hold on but with Boxing, Badminton TT and Wrestling ....hope we can hold on to third place that would be the best we have done except when hosting

Don’t really care about the medal table at the Commonwealth, especially considering how much the program changes year by year. I mostly care about it as a good test in a select few sports where the Commonwealth as a whole is competitive (diving, swimming, triathlon and track cycling come to mind) and as a fun side event otherwise.

Bowling is always a crapshoot. They came so close in 2015 with 3 top 5 finishes. One of these days, something has to give and they will win a medal.

Aruba has a promising crew in the women's 49er FX. Not sure if that is featured in the Pan Ams though.

Right now India should be the favourite to win more gold medals (though in Canada we go by total medals so we have third place on lock down :P). Friday's results will likely determine who will finish on top.
