why ? yeah they cheat sometimes, and to be honest most of the time when they host. but they are nice and hard working people in general. actually sometimes I even support them when they don't host.

 

but I have to say my favorite East Asian country is Japan.

Yes, but it's not because of that, just that I find some italian athletes/teams charming usually.  

I'm also 1/8 hungarian and spanish but I would rarely support those countries in any sport.

Firstly  , then I tend to sympathise mainly with national teams of a few countries like        

 

And  restricted to men's football.

At the Olympics, I'm always happy when any latin american nation + India wins a medal, maybe because in some always they're similar to Brazil.

(at the Winter Olympics, latin american nations don't really register so I tend to cheer for Canada in every single thing + I like the USA figure skaters)
