However, they also can’t get sports to remain on the program. Plus, they’ve almost already reached critical mass in terms of athletes with around a dozen sports. The whole event still has a bit of a confused feel as well.

Especially when they held the Swimming at the same time but not part of the programme.

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

By the way, I found it highly amusing when people were discussing esports at multi-sport games this morning because just literal hours earlier, I had finished writing on article on that very topic. How funny :d

Anyway, here’s a link for those interested: https://discoverthegames.com/esports-finds-a-home-adjacent-to-major-multi-sport-games/

BBC doesn't have any available staff to cover the European Games - it is sending over 1,000 staff to cover Glastonbury instead - they'd rather be messing around in a muddy field than presenting from an empty stadium about athletes that most people in UK couldn't pick out in a line-up

Furthermore it's the British grass court season, and they tend to go full on with that (even going as far to get broadcasters from other sports and freelancers who mainly work for other broadcasters).

Gold for Karaqi :ALB. He actually represented :KOS in Minsk.

yeah, he has quite a long career behind himself representing Kosovo.

now he is representing a new Country and just found the day of his life (thanks also to an Italian loser like Martina, who lost against him a semifinal match he should have never lost on paper).

good for Alvin :champion:
