Some FIFA news, apparently they want to introduce penalty kicks in group stage for 2026 WC which would earn extra point. That's a way to solve the three-team group dilemma that could see all matches ending in a draw.

 

I still think the system 16 groups x 3 teams is stupid. It would be better to have 12 groups with 4 teams but what do we know...

Congrats to Australia , that was a well-deserved win. I still think this is the less-talented Australian team I ever seen but that doesn't matter. they achieved what the better Australian teams didn't.
