This is exactly why the FIFA ranking should matter for more than choosing which teams go to which pot in the final draw. The top 8 teams should have been assured a place in the WC Finals. I want to watch Italy versus Argentina, not Saudi Arabia versus New Zealand.

yeah Euro feels like ages ago, they simply forgot how to score recently. this team tonight couldn't score even against Papua New Guinea.

Still think 13 spots for Europe is just too few... I know there needs to be universality and it's the largest portion of all the continents but it's getting harder and harder each time. Though I am just bitter that my country hasn't a hope in qualifying anytime in the next decades
