Men's Football FIFA World Cup 2022

Recommended Posts

the fault is the absence of world clus players. In the past Italy had toti, del piero, inzaghi, vieri.. now what?? immobile?? also midefielders like barella and jorgihno cant be compared with Pirlo

what is strange in euro zone is the case of UK , in the Olympic games they participate as 1 nation , being 4 in WC  they increase their chance to qualify ...looks like a scam

That guy making the winning goal must already have 10 statues in the country now that the sun is up :d

that guy played in that same stadium for Palermo from 2015 through 2019...

naming him ungrateful is a very, very large euphemism...

In men's football they can't compete at the Olympics due to the disagreements between the federations.

Also if anything the four nations have less of a chance in qualifying due to diluting their players. It would be if the individual provinces of Algeria decide to qualify their own team. Sure there's more of them, but they would all be weaker.

How are things on the italian newspapers this morning !! who is saying that was the fault of who ?

it's all against all, of course...

the main targets are Mancini and the fedration's president, Gravina...

but the truth is that only the players who were on the pitch last night are responsible of this national shame...

by the way, we are lucky that most people's attention is on the war between Russia and Ukraine, so there's a lot of disinterest for football right now (at least among the main media)...

Him? Palermo fans who are angry with him now are the ungrateful ones, after he worked for them for years :d

    • No surprise — it’s the result of months of controversy, including media backlash. It all started with the federation’s decision not to select Romei, who is very close to Costantini, for the Olympic Games, and to call up Rebecca Mariani instead. In recent months, the Romeo/Costantini duo allegedly tried to push out Lo Deserto as well, and these are the results…

    • Stefania Constantini and her team out of Italy are heading their separate ways   Very confused to be honest, I know they had a bad season but I didn't expect to this happening... there's no real other options for any of them, unless they're focusing on Rock League/mixed doubles.   Italy has no other top female team, and the juniors aren't looking promising either, the last time they qualified a team to a World Juniors (not as host) was in 2014. Doubt the Italian Federation would let Constantini step away from the four-player game, she's too much of a talent, my guess is she'll "be forced" to go with Mariani (I mean her and Mosaner don't like each other much), still I have no idea who else they'd pick up given it's all five of them going their separate ways. Maybe Mathis will go back to representing Switzerland??
