@kungshamra71 as you see when :POL gets an olympic gold, football news are not important for our main sports newspaper 😉

maybe this is one of the reasons why not many people buy this newspaper these days and it will be published only twice a week though 😔

Oh man, $54 for the finals... I mean, that's not that expensive, a ticket of a Hungarian international football match costs the same, and I will pay it, but will 30.000 Hungarians pay that kind of money per evening? I doubt it, Hungarians don't care that much about athletics.

Wow, for Greece tickets are like 10-20 euros to watch the national team

Diamond League Calendar for 2023 is out.  Highlights will be two meetings in China  [some last minute replacement] and the whole series now finishes with a two-day grand finale in Eugene.

Chorzów gets rights to host Diamond League meetings by next 5 years :)

Ticket pre-sales for WCh 2023 have officially started.

It looks like the tickets for the morning sessions are cheap (3000 HUF), tickets for the evening sessions cost 23000 HUF, 18000 HUF, 13000 HUF and 9000 HUF. A pass for all the sessions costs around 100000 HUF.

    • Hope so (for my adopted country, Norway, that is). Torino 2006 was the first Winter Olympics I followed closely and it was nothing short of a disaster for Norway. Strangely enough, that was actually the reason I became an avid fan of Norwegian winter sports and have been ever since. As for my actual home country, Greece, a medal for Ginnis in slalom (alpine skiing) would be a miracle.
