merlinsbeard 21 Posted July 6, 2021 #12 Share Posted July 6, 2021 For Turkey, I think it will be 12-15 which is a great jump after 2012, most will be bronzes though.

heywoodu 13,566 Posted July 6, 2021 #15 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Anywhere between 15 and 35 would not be surprising A ton of medal chances, but that includes a whole lot who are not necessarily the main favourite and could just as well finish 4th or 5th. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! MHSN 3,230 Posted July 6, 2021 #17 Share Posted July 6, 2021 well, some of our biggest medal chances failed to qualify (for different reasons) and we had very disappointing doping case in Karate which eliminated our world champion too. so once again it's up to wrestling to save our delegation. but on the positive side we have a better wrestling team comparing to what I was expecting 2 years ago. so I say 8 to 10. Jinzha 533 Posted July 6, 2021 #20 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Update of my prediction from earlier this year: Archery: 0-1 Athletics: 0-3 (was 0-2) Cycling road: 2-3 (was 1-2) Cycling track: 3-5 BMX: 1-2 Mountainbike: 1 Field hockey: 1-2 Artistic gymnastics: 0 (was 0-1) Handball: 0 (was 0-1) Judo: 1-2 Rowing: 3-5 Sailing: 3-4 Swimming: 0-3 (was 0-2) Suprise medal: 1-3 Total: 16-34 (was 15-33) Changes: Athletics: added Femke Bol Cycling road: another women's cycling medal. I really think they could get 3 medals in 2 events, Van der Breggen, Van Vleuten, Vos and Vollering are unstoppable (except by Dychert). Artistic gymnastics: removed Zonderland, I sadly don't see it happening anymore Handball: removed women's team, their preparation has been messy and results in friendlies disappointing Swimming: added a third potential medal for our contenders Kamminga (100m/200m breast) / Kromowidjojo (50m free)/ Weertman and Van Rouwendaal (10km open water) CCB
