  1. Wow that's so surprising oh my god wow I'm now gonna try and see if water happens to be wet.
  2. We're listening some songs now, as soon as the Brazilian entry started my girlfriend was all "wow they chose this one?! I love it, it's one of my favourites!!!" She's not a user here and if she were, she'd be Brazilian, so it won't matter for the votes. I just had to say she likes whoever made this choice
  3. He definitely was, the most famous military athlete here in fact. Nowadays I believe the military sports program here doesn't really have anything noteworthy anymore.
  4. Right, didn't count on someone posting that in the wrong thread
  5. But considering the thread they're in, one can assume they're not for any games.
  6. I'll try when I see him tomorrow I'm sure he'll have time to think about it during the pursuit, considering he's almost finished by the time the first chaser starts
  7. @Jesús completely destroyed today's competition, wow. After two of three laps everyone was passing by while looking dead, and he still seemed to have a huge amount of power with every move. Damn, that was impressive. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&competitorid=184663&raceid=34255 As for the women's race, it was almost equal between Bruna and Ceci Dominguez in the first lap, but Bruna visibly lost power early in the second lap (the lap started with a long straight with full on headwind, then a short uphill) and finished 20 seconds behind. Fun fact: with 13:41.1 minutes she had exactly the same time as she did when she won in July https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=34254
  8. Obviously Can't really follow it these days though.
  9. Awesome, today I got to present the gold medal to the winner in the women's FIS sprint @Jesús dominated the men's race in a pretty impressive showing.
  10. Manager Federico Rosa is doing a good job again, miracle guy!
  11. From one sucky thing to another, yay.
  12. Those were terrible conditions, damn. Third placed finisher collapsed after the finish due to the heat and fatigue, it took at least 20 minutes and some help from other athletes and later even the ambulance personnel before she slowly managed to get back on her feet. Luckily she's ok now, but that was a bit of a scare. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=34247
  13. Mine is in my left hand though, because I find a ring on my right hand extremely irritating
  14. The FIS races in São Carlos start tomorrow, 4 consecutive days. Tomorrow it's the classic sprint and all the best South American women were supposed to be there (for the first time basically), but sadly today we heard Claudia Salcedo and Maria Cecilia Dominguez (who are here since some days and hours respectively) won't start, they'll focus on the 5k and 7.5k later. Wonderful place for some real winter FIS racing at roughly 30 degrees (and that's before noon)
  15. Nope, açaí. Love it. I think by now in 2,5 weeks I've gained an estimated 5kg or so.
  16. Obviously, nobody in their right mind would deny that.
  17. Meh. On one hand it's cool someone ran under two hours and Kipchoge seems like a nice guy, on the other hand it would have been so much better if it had been during a regular marathon.
  18. A team event seems the only way for the dual moguls to have any sort of added value. So, yes.
  19. With a vastly bigger diversity and a lot of cool fights in the back of the pack, where one sees athletes you don't generally see on TV again and again. Plus I feel like the atmosphere is possibly more relaxed there, out of the spotlights. I like out of the spotlights
