  1. I gave back hosting rights because two in one year really would be too much, and this is the one I didn't actually win
  2. I think we can all agree that at the very least the current situation sucks for everyone: those who didn't want to join found it to be shit anyway and those who wanted to join find it to be shit now because there's nothing left to be joined in
  3. Dude just log out, take a breath and come back if/when at some point you want to. Nobody knows who 'bestmen' is, don't worry about your employer finding your posts
  4. Oh I definitely find that a more than shitty move like everyone else, don't get me wrong on that. Mostly I had hoped for there to be a little more time for everyone (mostly himself) to calm down, sort stuff out and get on with it. I know I might have been hoping for too much there, but it dies last, I heard..
  5. Well I can repeat everything I've said before, and you can, and in the end we'll still just disagree about it anyway so I'll save us both the energy
  6. Like this is actually the outcome I'm just gonna stay positive and assume he'll be back and host the contest
  7. Wait, what? "Only those we accept as candidates can be candidates" is more freedom than "if you want to host, you're a candidate"? People were always free to be a candidate without everyone needing to vote whether or not he/she could be, changing that because of one person is a little bit of an overreaction.
  8. We are now at a stage where we all need to vote for every candidate whether or not they can actually be a candidate? No thanks..
  9. But little children having to drum up some pledge all the time, that is downright scary. If it wasn't a western country doing that, everyone would be calling it indoctrination and propaganda
  10. Not exactly surprising in a country with things like saying some dumb pledge every morning in school (Or is that exaggerated and is it actually not like that in the United States of North Koreamerica? ) Anyway, at least those idiot groups are 'attacking' each other there, that's something.

  12. The meat thing is like a free pass to dope one time and one time only
  13. Well, I highly doubt well-known cycling websites are all in an anti-Israel conspiracy and making things up So most likely it's some Israeli organizers who thought it'd be easy to have a race after the start of the Giro in Jerusalem (possibly without even involving the Israeli cycling federation) and then it all just died a slow death two years in a row.
  14. Parasite is not one of your all-time favourite movies?
  15. And they're right. Like Bubka did, there's way more money in taking WR's in big meets instead of major championships.
  16. World champions winning an Olympic gold medal happens in more sports though
  17. Oh I agree, but Mollaei has become a little....let's say, controversial here with the whole Iran-Israel-leaving Iran thing
  18. You are new here, so let me tell you you just threw a big bomb in the fire by calling them 'true athletes and role models' (Personally I still find it rather hard to know what to think, I think all sides have their points)
  19. Well this did not keep me up at all, because in the morning after the Oscars I just go to WIkipedia and see who won what and be like "Oh, cool...never heard of him/her, no idea who that is...what's this movie?" Nothing keeping me up last night, but full-power for the Daytona 500 next Sunday I guess I'm more or less the only one though, so it doesn't much count.
