  1. Right, let's make that a glass of milk instead of anything alcohol, that sounds like a better idea. I'd still pour you that glass though, no worries.
  2. Oh no, self-reflection stays buddy Let me pour you a drink.
  3. Jeez, Van der Vaart, Huntelaar and Robben were in World Cups (be it U20) in 2001?! No way I was watching that stuff back then, but somehow I do 100% remember Van der Vaart's national team debut. Not against which nation it was, I just somehow vividly remember the moment he entered the pitch (in sort of grey shirts, I believe), no idea why
  4. There's a lot more than Southern California. A whole lot of people actually said they were woken up rather roughly, so one can assume a whole lot of people were woken up rather roughly.
  5. Oh my gosh I am so shocked a major federation/company/whatever changes their 'digital strategy'
  6. Absolutely, since we're gonna get to see you eat your shoe then.
  7. Less than 20 minutes ago. A whole lot of people have been woken up rather roughly.
  8. I do have faith in the people behind the actual data and stories though, so I'm not gonna give up hope yet
  9. There's a cycling calendar as well from 1 August on, but of course that's not as definitive as UCI tries to make us believe. Cycling does however restart on Tuesday, with the HTV Cup in, yeah, Vietnam And it's not just something, it's an 18-stage race, basically a Grand Tour with mostly Vietnamese riders
  10. It's a whole buch of smart people behind it, I'm pretty sure everything is not actually lost
  11. NASCAR is back this weekend, starting on Sunday Four races in less than two weeks, awesome. IndyCar is back on 6 June at the Texas Motor Speedway.
  12. I thought all of that was supposed to be copied one-on-one to the IOC's website..? Can't find it there though, and definitely not in a format that's as perfect as sports-reference
  13. Isolation eRacing Series Australian Supercars rounds 18-20 of the virtual championship MMA, Bellator 193 of January 2018 In between actual useful stuff, of course
  14. Every new IOC president seems to take the totalitarian role one step further, Bach took two steps
  15. Yeah, apparently things don't always stay the same forever, who knew
  16. Yeah, you really can't compare countries like Slovakia and Latvia with the USA or something. That being said, I am definitely happy those countries that have good conditions to get it under control actually managed to use those conditions to actually keep it sort of under control. I'm sure leaders reacting like Trump or Bolsonaro would have managed to screw up even those countries
  17. That's the one I was sure about
  18. Sort of hard to compare junior and senior, seeing as rally and track is rather different.. I'm more than willing to give Sainz the benefit of the doubt. You're not ending up 6th in the world championship without some form of decent talent if you're not in a Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull. Plus, beating out Norris quite comfortably is simply really good, there is not much doubt among experts about Norris being a top level driver. Of course it is always hard to judge who is good and who's less good when there's big differences between cars. Is Bottas really good? Or is he just where he is because his car happens to be good? I really don't think the current six drivers that make up the top-3 teams are the six best drivers on the current grid.
  19. Mercedes wants to have a word with you.
  20. McLaren 2021: Ricciardo + Norris Renault 2021: Ocon + ... Ferrari 2021: Leclerc + ... The Ferrari seat will most likely be Sainz, curious to see if Renault will again pay 25+ million dollars for a driver and if Vettel even wants to move there. Apart from him, Lundgaard and Zhou are serious contenders as well, especially if Renault waits a little to see how the current season goes for them.
  21. So this isn't surprising.
  22. Yes that has been going around for a while, but rumours are Qatar has taken the top position for that spot. I really hope it'll be Oman, even though with Dylan Groenewegen the Netherlands would have one of the major candidates for gold on a flat course like Qatar - an awesome race is of course a lot more important than having a winner with the same flag.
