  1. I'm immediately going to send Russia an email saying they should stop cheating!
  2. Bocox breaking her SLC PB, quite some PB by Morozova as well. https://speedskatingresults.com/index.php?p=3&e=22677&r=5 Other results weren't very interesting: a decent 1500m winner in the men's race and also, mass starts. https://speedskatingresults.com/index.php?p=2&e=22677
  3. Fun little fact which I just came across on a Dutch forum: since midnight (in whatever your local time is, as long as it's 2 February) you can post on a time in which every single number is an even number....for the first time since 28 August 2008 (22:48:48)
  4. There were horses dancing around in Montana or what?
  5. Yeah, an issue seems to be the limited number of tests they can do in a day. If they can test a maximum of 2000 people a day, of course they can't announce more than 2000 a day as new confirmed cases. There is a huge amount (that 100k you mentioned) that is already flagged as 'suspected' apparently..
  6. I also think he actually meant international events instead of just those local things like NFL and NBA and whatnot
  7. Oh shit, that is by far the biggest single update that just came out.
  8. Weapons that sort of look like AK74's, that's promising.
  9. It's not, which is why these times are at least somewhat surprising.
  10. I'm also pretty surprised by two relatively unknown Kazakhs going under 6:20
  11. You see one dude just trying to run away (but to where? Since he's rather high up) and another guy sitting in his cage just hanging there...
  12. If IBSF is added, can we open a thread to talk about national races and so on for two posts a year?
  13. No I have not, I didn't mean to say they're not doing good Only to exercise caution in basing too much off of the UCI rankings.
  14. I mean, which events/competitions are they dominating? Anything worldwide, or mostly just local or something? UCI rankings don't always mean a whole lot.
  15. Run times of 27 seconds in the doubles in the Youth A World Cup https://www.fil-luge.org/en/multimedia/6th-youth-a-world-cup
  16. Why are we talking about skeleton in the bobsleigh thread again btw?
  17. Just give him 1-year contracts and he'll always be good, but they don't seem to get that certain cyclists only perform when their ass is on the line
  18. Exactly. He's a semi-competitive slider for the ICC tour, filled with way less experienced sliders (among others from other exotic nations), but that's about it. Which is perfectly fine, but on the higher level he's just ages behind. I honestly would have no problem at all seeing him at the Olympics, but saying he'd be competitive there is just a step too far.
  19. 6th place for Tomasz Marczynski in one of the early season Spanish races....this guy is weird, almost literally all of his good results have come in a 'contract year' (last year of contract so needing good results for a new contract) https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider.php?id=tomasz-marczynski&p=results&xseason=&sort=date&race=&km1=&km2=&limit=100&page=0&topx=10&type_1=1&type_2=1&type_8=1&continent=&pnts=&level=&rnk=&exclude_tt=0&filter=Filter&morefilters=1
  20. You can bet your ass someone would either kick it away or let their dog piss on it here Unless I put a bottle or something in the garden and run past the house to pick it up, but it's rather demotivating to pass home and knowing you've still got a good while to go.
  21. I think I ran with a bottle only once, when it was really way too hot during the summer. For example Wednesday I ran 1:32 hours (15km) and at no point did I even think about wanting something to drink (I even came home, relaxed a little, had a shower, turned on the washing machine and only then picked something to drink ). I didn't do it this time, but I do sometimes bring a few of those 'gels' with me as a sort of basic nutrition.
  22. That was a fantastic last lap Worst was so close to the world title
