  3. tied with 5 targets to go... I just can't...
  4. official: bronze for now vs for gold, with leading by 1 before the last 10 targets my heartrate is dangerously rising
  5. and it's official: 4th place for now leads by 2 points over and is suddenly in the hunt for silver 5 more targets to decide the bronze medal
  6. next out, bronze for OQP for both of them, however
  7. the next out, 5th place and OQP for her and tied in the lead after 30 targets
  8. out Jessica wasting some chances to get clear from the rest of the field
  9. yeah, it's not correct, they should fix the whole schedule what they indicate as laser run final in fact is the full final session (with all the 4 elements), meanwhile the 6 hour sessions are the semifinal heats (and from this it's impossible to understand if they will go for the 2 18-player heats or the 3 12-player heats) the only correct info is the fencing bonus rounds on day #1 of the sport (Aug. 8th)
  10. men's Trap Marian Kovacocy and Khaled Almudhaf are safe in the final (and will fight for the OQPs) @hckošice then, we have a 7-man shoot-off for the last 4 places in the decisive act: Derrick scott Mein and William Hinton (both not competing for any OQP) Jiri Liptak (also not competing for an OQP, as he's already qualified) Giovanni Pellielo (53 years old, 4-time Olympic medallist, this would be his 8th Olympic participation, if he gets until there, of course) Giovanni Cernogoraz Andres Garcia Mitchell Iles the last 4 will fight for both the final and the OQPs
  11. yes, I can tell you that CSKA is surely active in Olympic Wrestling, I have no idea about Dynamo (but I think they also are there) I'm also pretty sure that all the athletes from the traditional regions who are serving the mandatory military service, during those 18 months (or is it 2 years now? ) have to temporarily switch to those military clubs to continue their wrestling activity in that span (otherwise they would be enrolled in the regular troops, with all that means)
  12. naaa...the Olympic format is the same of the European Games semifinals would consist of 2 heats with 18 players each, so the final (on 1 single heat, of course)* in the semis there are the fencing bonus round, swimming and laser run (most likely no riding), in the final there will be also the riding before the final laser run *they might also split the players in 3 heats of 12 in the semis
  13. however, I think that the German TV has a better picture quality (for those who consider that an important factor)
  14. I don't know what kind of policy is following UWW, but if they are in line with the IOC demand, all those wrestlers enrolled in military clubs (CSKA, Dinamo and so on) or registered for clubs owned by some oligarcs sanctioned by the EU and/or UN are not eligible to participate in any international event
  15. Tamberi vs Harrison for gold in the men's high jump one thing is safe...there won't be a shared gold this time
  16. Harrison doesn't surrender, but now he's behind Tamberi
  17. I'm not a fan of him, but this man has 2 balls like cocumbers, I must admit
  18. you were right, but they changed the rule in due course
  19. I'm not so sure especially in C and women's events there will be some non-European Countries sneakin' in into the qualifying places are basically going all in in the men's C2 and, with more than a bit of luck, men's K4 I don't think we have any chance in the other Olympic events
  20. as somebody already wrote, eurohockey.org it's behind paywall the Olympic Channel will have semis and finals but you can also take advantage of the German and Dutch public tv networks for the games of their respective National teams https://www.zdf.de/sport/sportstudio-live/hockey-em-2023-vorrunde-frankreich-deutschland-livestream-gruppe-b-100.html https://www.zdf.de/sport/sportstudio-live/hockey-em-2023-vorrunde-frankreich-deutschland-livestream-gruppe-b-100.html https://www.npostart.nl/gids (for live events I'm sure you need a vpn and being registered -for free...for on demand events it might work with no vpn nor registration) not sure any other available European TV network is broadcasting this event for free (you can try Teledeporte, RTE or the TV...google will help you)
  21. so, the Olympic Rifle and Pistol events are over won 6 out of 10, meanwhile and won 1 gold medal each
