  1. of course I'm not gonna miss a minute of all the sports I'm interested in and you know what I'm gonna miss
  2. game #18, b. by 62 runs in the first inning, a lethal combination of unwatchable bowlers and the duo Warner (163 runs from 124 balls ) and Marsh (121 runs from 108 balls) being unstoppable basically killed the match tried an amazing comeback in the second stint, but when their best batsmen did fall one after another (Iftikhar the last one, who almost put back in line for a miracle), any hope was gone and now are really in trouble, if they want to stay in the medal race they really need to win against teams like and (other than all the "smaller" teams) scored 367/9 in 50 overs, stopped at 305/all out in 45.3 overs game details https://www.cricketworldcup.com/match/102764 Tomorrow, games #19 and #20 to complete the 4th gameday first vs at 7 a.m. CET in Lucknow, then the almost decisive clash between and at 10.30 a.m. CET in Mumbai
  3. our federation already said they are in for some shopping, as they want a medal in LA
  4. the US Military bases located outside the US territory legally are not considered US soil (like an Embassy, for instance) it's quite complicated, but basically if both the parents are from USA, you are still American for sure (but you can apply for the German citizenship, too, even if there are some limits and you also need that you and your family have the official residence in Germany for a few years...and those enrolled in the military troops have even more rules to follow)
  5. Cakiroglu, almost for sure then, I think it's quite open and many contenders might get it
  6. and are always in troubles with Arianna Fontana and her whims now she said she won't be back on the ice until the federal judges will fix the feud she has with Tommaso Dotti and other guys of the male team she said they tried to get her injured during the training sessions in the past years frankly, I'm so tired of this shit taking the attention of the media and of the audience away from the action of the current members of the team (and especially Pietro Sighel's medals)
  7. most of the athletes I used to support are no longer competing... however, I still admire all the champions in each sport I follow, so, there are way too many to be named so, among those still in activity I love watching play "pound for pound" there are: Baseball: Shoei Ohtani, Roki Sasaki, Clayton Kershaw, Mookie Betts Hockey: Anze Kopitar, Alexander Ovechkin, Leon Draisaitl, Roman Josi Alpine Skiing: Mikaela Shiffrin, Marco Odermatt Speedskating: Jutta Leerdam (well, maybe that's not because of her -however great- skills ) Short Track Speedskating: Hanne Desmet Athletics: Mondo Duplantis, Yulimar Rojas, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Faith Kipyegon, Tom Walsh Swimming: Ariarne Titmus Judo: Uta Abe Wrestling: the and athletes in general Boxing: Vasyl Lomachenko, Oleksandr Usyk and Naoya Inoue Basketball: Luka Doncic Shooting: Alessandra Perilli (and the team in general) and many, many more...

Pelicans Lahti so, and have now bettered their contingent in the knockout stage to 3 teams and have increased their teams to 2, with a chance later Today to make it 3 out of 3 the last spot for the knockout stage, in fact, will be decided this evening between Oceláři Třinec (playing vs Aalborg), Belfast Giants (playing vs Pardubice) and Tappara Tampere the Finns have already played their 6 games and can only wait for the Czechs and the Britons' results, if the Giants win and/or Třinec earn at least 1 point, they are out Třinec are in with a win, no matter what the Giants do. If they lose in OT, they can still make it through in case the Giants don't win their match in regulation by at least a 4-goal margin the Giants have to win their match in regulation by at least a 4-goal margin and hope that Třinec lose their match (the goal margin would be useless if the Czechs lose in regulation)

  21. don't forget weightlifting, if they are capable of avoiding doping troubles (which would be a shame, as it looks more than evident that they didn't learn anything from the past) however, so far they have (good) chances in the men's -61 and -73 kilos and in the women's -49kg
