  1. no, he's a true Kazakh

  7. it's still February, but it's already playoffs time in European Hockey the first couple of European Leagues to close their Regular Season down, were the Ligue Magnus and the () ICE Hockey League here is a short summary of how it went...
  8. call those bunch of idiots of the WADA for Koshkin!
  9. playing with fire really disappointing tournament for them, meanwhile very pleasant weekend for
  10. Indoor Nationals Top of day #2 men's Shot Put: fierce battle between Fabbri and Weir, with the 2023 world silver medallist edging out his teammate 21.85m to 21.76m. He also recorded a very, very long (well beyond 22m, likely a 22.50m) last put, which unfortunately was called foul men's Triple Jump: Andrea Dallavalle (European silver medallist and world champs 4th placed in 2022) came back after 2 injury-plagued years and won the national title with 17.36m (2nd best jump of the year so far) women's 60m: Zeybab Dosso easily won the title with a pair of good races: 7.10 in the semifinal and 7.07 in the final. she's Europe's no.2 at the moment men's 400m: Luca Sito was expected to run fast, but he didn't go as quick as many would have liked. "only" 46.15 for him (still, it's his PB) among all the other (pretty ordinary) results, in the women's Triple Jump, 18-year young Erika Saraceni (world junior bronze medallist in 2024) beat all the more experienced rivals and set a new U-20 National Record with 13.71m (improving her PB by around 20cms)
  12. I'd be surprised if they don't
  13. https://www.olympics.com/en/news/india-vs-pakistan-odi-cricket-head-to-head-record a pair of videos of their rivalry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtL2eHSluCU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbaYvitVNes
  14. posted a great 351/8 off 50 overs, but completed an amazing chase and won by 5 wickets (they scored 356/5 off 47.3 overs) a truly world class match
  16. Doro Wierer won't start Tomorrow in the women's Mass Start Race Thursday and Today's efforts have shown that she hasn't recovered yet from the illness she got just before the start of the world champs p.s. Lisa Vittozzi won't comeback to Biathlon World Cup for this season, but she's back on her skis and she looks fine, as last week she competed (hidden among the amateurs) in a long distance cross country race good news in perspective 2026
  17. top of day #1 5km Race Walking: Francesco Fortunato wins the race in a new world record time of 17.55.65 (previous WR held by Mikhail Schennikov since February, 1995 with 18.07.08; previous NR held by Athens 2004 20km Olympic Champion Ivano Brugnetti in 18.08.86) men's High Jump: 2024 junior world silver medallist Matteo Sioli improves to 2.28m to win the competition on the last jump against Manuel Lando (2.26m at the 1st attempt, while Sioli did it at the 2nd, so he needed to clear a better hight to win) men's Long Jump: 16-year young Daniele Inzoli wins with a 7.93m jump (U-18 NR, 6th European U-18 all time) women's Long Jump: just an ordinary 6.69m jump was enough for Larissa Iapichino to take another Italian title at home looking at Tomorrow, men's Shot Put and women's 60m should be the highlight of the day, with both men and women's 400m also to be taken into consideration
  18. next stop, Ibiza, April 25th and 26th
  19. Stage #1 ( Soma Bay) Mixed Relay Gold: Germany (Isabel Gose, Jeanette Spiwoks, Oliver Klemet, Florian Wellbrock) Silver: Australia (Moesha Johnson, Chelsea Gubecka, Nicholas Sloman, Kyle Lee) Bronze: Italy (Giulia Gabbrielleschi, Ginevra Taddeucci, Gregorio Paltrinieri, Luca De Tullio) Full Results https://www.worldaquatics.com/competitions/4794/world-aquatics-open-water-swimming-world-cup-2025/results?event=f8431279-2abe-413f-9463-d54e195feada&unit=final
  20. Italian champs have been decimated by many withdrawals, some because of injury, some because of personal scheduling No Furlani, no Andy Diaz, no Jacobs (nor many other good 60m specialists), no Simonelli, no Battocletti, out even the young sensation Doualla (injured, indoor season is over for her) main attraction are now the Fabbri vs Weir battle in the men's Shot Put, Zeynab Dosso in the women's 60m and Larissa Iapichino in the women's Long Jump some kind of interest also for Luca Sito in the men's 400m and a few more youngsters, hopefully improving their PBs
  21. you can still watch all the games on demand...it's all for free on the NHL Youtube page
  22. Karate 1 Serie A 2025 Stage #2 ( Larnaca) Results Recap https://www.wkf.net/imagenes/campeonatos/karate1resultados-2025-karate-1-series-a-larnaca-001.pdf
  23. hope the poor cat is still alive however, only managed to score 208/all out off 43.3 overs, so won the match by 107 runs Ryan Rickelton with 103 runs is Today's top batsman Tomorrow, the big match between and is on stage in Lahore (as usual, game starts @ 10 a.m. CET)
  24. US defense loses it in OT (by leaving McDavid alone in the slot), rather and yeah, unexpected great night for Binnington overall, nice tournament, some exciting (and some boring) action, but still 1 billion times better than any possible format of that farce named All Star Game hope Russia are back and in 2028 we can finally watch a super World Cup with the 6 top teams in the world (adding and to this year's 4)
  25. Oberhof (and sometimes Nove Mesto) in March...good luck for the grass biathlon cup! and Holmenkollen in February...I know they want to keep the world champs in that stint, but, man! I wonder how many troubles they will have in 2029 (unless climate change does really modify our Winter more than how it happens nowadays)
