  1. Today missed out on the podium among the men, but in the women's race Jasmin Coratti made up for that by winning her first ever World Cup gold
  2. and adds another Gold to their collection
  3. Wintersports and Swimming Short Course World Champs, mainly but also some Hockey/NFL Football/NCAA Football and Basketball stuff here and there from Sunday, the Cricket men's Big Bash League, too
  4. World Cup Games are counted as "official" by the various federations (even if played under the NHL rules) so, I don't see anything wrong with also this tournament being counted as "official" by the and federations
  5. IIHF already allowed to do that in 2006, then it was our idiotic National Federation's officials givin'up that possibility I hope this time they are not so blind, since it's obvious that we don't have any local market and/or any local kid to protect and any movement to develop (no kids practicing, no infrastructure, no money) it's the same with Baseball in the WBC, when we play with a team made mainly of pro players that have never played in Italy (some of them, they've not even been here once in their life) p.s. I think the request to be "soft" with that rule came directly by the IOC in order so sell a few more tickets got a passport? then, you're in p.p.s however, what about those who already played for / in recent times? will they be able to choose? will they be "instigated" to play for ? will they be available only to their "original" team and a no-no for ? I'm really curious to see how this thing develops in the next 14 months?
  6. I knew you would really appreciate that!

  10. started watching... after the 2nd semifinal heat of the men's 1500m I was so disgusted that I stopped wasting my time however, awful day for (and certainly not only because of a shameful refs' decision)
  11. yes, but he withdrew after the lists were made official because he's exhausted, he said https://olympics.com/en/news/exhausted-leon-marchand-withdraws-2024-short-course-world-swimming-championships
  12. actually, Schwinghammer was 4th () Olivia Giaccio got 3rd
  13. Knockout Stage Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part II) Wednesday 04.12.2024 - Highlights Eisbären Berlin (GER) - ZSC Lions Zürich (SUI)
  14. Knockout Stage Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part II) Wednesday 04.12.2024 - Results Eisbären Berlin (GER) - ZSC Lions Zürich (SUI) 3-4 (1-0, 2-2, 0-2)
  15. not that it's unexpected, but the list of Olympic champions/medallists missing this championship is starting to grow up too much
  16. schedule of events is always the same, you can look at the previous round and see how normally things go no finals on Friday (qualifications of all events only), medal sessions are always only on Saturday and Sunday (alternating men and women's distances on the 2 days, mixed relay normally ends on Sunday)
  17. I think this time won't get many 4th places, rather they have some chances to win it all (in Freestyle)
  18. some Olympic stars are missing... no Ceccon nor Martinenghi for and, above all, no Marchand
  19. Knockout Stage Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part II) Wednesday 04.12.2024 - Schedule* 19:30 Eisbären Berlin (GER) - ZSC Lions Zürich (SUI) *All times CET Watch live Check here for details of live TV broadcasts: https://www.championshockeyleague.com/en/fans/where-to-watch All games are also live on the https://everyplay.live/ website (CHL Pass costs 9.99€/month), subject to geo-blocking restrictions in certain countries due to TV rights.
  20. Knockout Stage Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part I) Tuesday 03.12.2024 - Highlights Sparta Prague (CZE) - Växjö Lakers (SWE) Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) - Färjestad Karlstad (SWE) Genève-Servette (SUI) - Pinguins Bremerhaven (GER)
  21. so, the Swiss reigning champions, who saved their ass in the last match of the RS, now are almost safe in the semis once again... very impressive performance also by RB Salzburg, I didn't expect them to make such a good run, even if the 2nd leg match won't be easy at all and they're all but safe in the final four
  22. Knockout Stage Quarterfinals, 1st Leg (Part I) Tuesday 03.12.2024 - Results Sparta Prague (CZE) - Växjö Lakers (SWE) 1-2 (0-0, 1-1, 0-1) Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) - Färjestad Karlstad (SWE) 3-1 (1-1, 2-0, 0-0) Genève-Servette (SUI) - Pinguins Bremerhaven (GER) 4-0 (2-0, 1-0, 1-0)
