But, they can qualify via continental spot in only 2 disciplines, so they have to drop one of them. WD pair is the only one of the three who are competitive at top stage, so it is safe to assume they would be one of the 2 disciplines chosen. If they drop MS, I couldn't find any other eligible athlete for Oceania quota, so it should go to next highest ranked athlete, . If they drop XD, their quota would go to .

Wrestling gave max quotas to the last WC before Olympics. Its not their fault that Olympics got delayed by a year.

I think Sania Mirza can use her protected ranking to get into WD. Apart from her, I don’t think anyone is close to qualification. But, in case a lot of players skip the Olympics, which is always a real possibility, then we may sneak in a couple of more players.

I don’t think Khan thought no one would notice. It must be more of a case of him trying to play victim by claiming later that FEI prevented him from going to Olympics on a technicality. Host organisers, FEI and Khan all have to share the blame. Most likely Khan would be banned for some time. FEI would impose some fine on organisers but who would punish FEI?

No. Jeremy in 67kg is active but not in green. Those in green are born in 2000. Maybe they are no longer junior but are allowed since, we didn’t have a Junior championships last year.

What use will be extra time when even that will be scored by passivity. I have not seen a large number of Greco matches so my observation may be completely off but to me it seems that most of the points are scored directly from the par terre position. Out of the remaining points, pushouts are majority and only a small portion are, to use football term, from open play. This is the main problem. But again my dataset is small. So, maybe that is not the case. Maybe, that is a conscious decision. I don’t know but it limits the viewer experience for a neutral.
