  1. Not bad. Lithuanian 15-year olds are sitting ducks, while the likes of Armenia, Greece or even Thailand are beatable.
  2. Seriously, whoever the provider is, how many flops can FIS live timing survive?? It happens again, and again, and again.
  3. 25°C in Rijeka today, smashing the previous February record of 21 (from 1948)...
  4. After today, NOCs qualified for men's events - 56 NOCs qualified for women's events - 33
  5. Well, chances there for some new nation to join are next to none. Interval starts are easier by default, while the sprints will have an added difficulty of classic technique.
  6. Number of NOCs is just as important imo. Macedonia for example always has a female skier, and now suddenly they will not. They literally can't have an athlete even if one of them started winning World Cups next season, just to reiterate how bizarre the qualification system is.
  7. I'd be shocked if there were any reallocations though. PUR and TTO will basically qualify by default, while NCA not qualifying would mean they got a quota somewhere else (incredibly unlikely).
  8. I don't think so. It is probably just the editor not knowing how it works (or caring, to be honest).
  9. Yap, a whole shitload of nations managed to qualify a man, but not a woman. And that is partly because men's qualification race gives lower points by default (due to different cut-off points).
  10. "The quota place/s is/are allocated to the NOC and is/are gender specific. The selection of athletes for any quota place(s) are at the discretion of the NOC subject to the eligibility requirements."
  11. Looks like a lot of nations will earn a basic quota for men, but not for women. Briliant. As if the universality massacre was not enough, it will also lead to pronounced gender inequality.
  12. Titouan Serot suddenly jumped from like 20th to 3rd on the same split. How is that even possible?
  13. Shemshaki shown as leading Moeller by 10 monutes at 7.9 km. Briliant integrity.
  14. OR NOT. are all out!! Argentina barely got in. What a total universality nightmare. EDIT: Also . FIS/IOC really outdid themselves in the persecution of small teams.
  15. For what it's worth, I don't think Chile and Colombia did enough. Everyone else should earn a basic quota.
  16. Well, they have a competent skier (Pyeongchang Olympian) who competed multiple times in Kazakhstan this season.
  17. Probably, although Skender already collected some points in Finland (a notable Top 30 result in the sprint). I guess we are right around the 30th place in both genders so this event could be crucial.
  18. Nika Jagečić should be able to quality out of the women's race. Our guys, not so much.
  19. Start lists are out. As feared, we will lose many nations for the Olympics. are already out for sure. As for the others, No chance of qualification - Could go either way - Everyone else should be safe to go under 300 pts (at least in one gender)...
  20. This is just IOC desperately trying to look good in the sea of current global events. Same things happened in 2016 with the refugee team. Refugees existed long before the 2015 European crisis.
  21. And what about Chinese and North Korean athletes who protest?
  22. Usman Khan & Kasheer succesfully obtained MER at CCI3*-S level this weekend. Three more steps to go.
  23. Thanks. This helps a lot actually. CDI-W stands for the World Cup, so I guess it will not go forward as planned. CDN is a national event.
