    Oh damn. Rodrigo Pessoa's horse spooked at numerous fences, had a refusal, but Pessoa somehow drove him home to qualify Brazil for the final. This was so close to a disaster.

    Meanwhile, our team of golden age divas can't stop complaining about having to play 5-8 place matches. This includes the coach (WTF?). Poor them.

    Apparently Ireland can still make the final... If another 9 nations get an elimination and they have the highest two-rider score. So they have to compete. What a cruel format.

    Yeah, only those two horses were trouble. Coyle had bad luck (Uzbekistan could have been a contributing factor here too). Schleu however had that what if steering moment. Everything else were riding errors. Some athletes definitely got away with genuine horses.

    Oh nooo.... Shane Sweetnam eliminated, therefore Ireland eliminated. Maybe not the maximum dimensions, but a serious course...

    Again an easier course for the qualifier. Still lots of faults for the likes of Czech Republic and China, but should be mostly 0s and 4s for the big teams. Everything starts from scratch in the final anyway.

    Gulyas galloped at an oxer... She was lucky the horse ever regained confidence following that incident.

    Schleu did a great job when she took control at the beginning, but then made a steering mistake before a fence and lost all control she had. What if. Full on panic mode from the start never helped her, though.

    Carrier's horse pretty well has the nicest balance out there. Very much the expected clear.
