  1. I have to say sorry to Löw, although his idea to Change our complete System was obviously shit and he shouldve subbed Sane in during extra time. I think Boateng was actually the one who was paid by italian Mafia, there is no other Explanation why he suddenly lost his mind and caused one of the most stupid penalties ever. In the end we deserved the victory, we completely controlled Italy in the second half and wouldve won in regular time without Boateng. Sadly Hummels will miss the next match thanks to 2 ridiculous yellow Cards against Slovakia and Italy today. Khedira and Gomez also might miss the next match due to injuries.
  2. Haha, Löw is the biggest joke in the history of Football. Again he completely changed our Team for the match against Italy, he is obviously paid by italian Mafia, i hope he gets fired tomorrow and will never again get a new Job.
  3. We will see. I think that brazilian clubs wouldnt stand a chance against top european clubs and tactically the brazilian league is much worse than the top european leagues, all half decent brazilian players are transferred to european clubs at a young age. Neymar is their only world class player and we will see if he is able to stand the pressure this time. Germany doesnt really seem to care about this competition, so i would like to see Portugal (if Renato Sanches will be nominated) or Brazil (they deserve it after the nightmare they had in 2014 and because they are the hosts) to take away the gold medal.
  4. I think in all events contested so far USA could win 9 medals and 2 of them in gold: Mens 200 free: No medal (Gold in the relay) Mens 400 free: No medal Mens 100 breast: Bronze Mens 100 back: 2 medals, probably gold Mens 400 IM: Silver or bronze Womens 400 free: Gold and silver Womens 100 breast: Silver or bronze Womens 100 back: No medal Womens 100 fly: Silver or bronze Womens 400 IM: Silver or bronze Lets see what they will bring in the other events: I dont think that they will fight for a medal in womens 50/100 free, womens 200 breast, womens 200 fly or mens 1500 free. My predictions: Womens 200 free: Gold Womens 800 free: Gold and maybe bronze Womens 200 back: Maybe bronze Womens 200 breast: Maybe bronze Womens 200 fly: Maybe silver or bronze Womens 200 IM: Silver or bronze Womens 400 free relay: Maybe bronze Womens medley relay: Silver or bronze Womens 800 free relay: Gold Mens 50 free: Silver or bronze Mens 100 free: Silver or bronze Mens 1500 free: Maybe bronze Mens 100 fly: Gold Mens 200 fly: Gold Mens 200 breast: Anything is possible Mens 200 back: Silver or bronze Mens 200 IM: Gold + silver or bronze Mens 400 free relay: Anything is possible, probably bronze Mens medley relay: Gold Mens 800 free relay: Gold My prediction is that they will win about 30 medals and about 10 of them in gold.
  5. We first have to make it out of the group, which will be difficult enough. South Korea and Mexico both could very well beat us. I think with our best possible team we wouldve been the favorite for gold, but without players like Sane, Kimmich, Weigl, Rüdiger or Tah i dont see any chance that we will play for gold.
  6. Really? Except for Marquinhos, Neymar, Douglas Costa and maybe Gabriel Jesus this team is pretty average. Fred, Anderson and Rafinha are also decent players, but nothing really special. Their defenders/midfielders/goalkeepers are pretty underwhelming in my opinion. I think Neymar will have to win the gold medal on his own. Costa was really bad for Bayern in the last couple of months and Jesus didnt show anything at top level so far. I think this team is clearly worse than the one they had in 2012. Portugal/Germany/Argentina could have a much better team on paper, but they probably wont compete with their best team. Lets wait for the other teams first before we hand the gold to Brazil. Germany will miss Sane, Kimmich, Weigl, Tah, Rüdiger and we probably wont nominate players like Gündogan or Reus, so we probably wont fight for the gold, but Argentina and Portugal could send really great teams to Rio.
  7. I think Chand is the person who started this mess, Without this person Semenya, Niyonsaba and Wambui probably still wouldnt be able to compete against women. I definitely wont cheer for this person and i hope this person wont steal a spot in the semifinal in Rio.
  8. I am glad that most british people voted for leave, GB has never really been part of the EU, just like Russia or Turkey dont belong in the EU, now british people finally decided to leave. Some interesting questions are still to answer: Will Scotland remain in the EU? Will we again have borders between Ireland and Northern Ireland? Who will replace Cameron as PM? I guess it will (sadly) be Johnson, but it would be great to see Farage as new PM. Maybe we will have elections again and UKIP will win them. I think it will be difficult for the Conservative Party to agree on someon as opportunistic as Johnson as new PM. Where will british people now go for holidays? Spain will probably now be too expensive for many british people. I think Manchester or Birmingham are very beautiful places too. Will Franlfurt become the new financial centre of Europe? When will GB actually exit the EU? Its gonna be really interesting to see how GB will do without the EU. Switzerland for example is doing just fine and i think GB will also be fine without the EU.
  9. I think there is no reason for you to be angry ... Those results are obviously completely unimportant. German fans instead have every reason to be angry: Wagner won Gold in mens sabre, but isnt qualified for Rio Sanita won bronze in mens foil, but isnt qualified for Rio Sozanska was our best athlete in womens epee (reached the quarterfinal and lost 10:13 against Gherman), but isnt qualified for Rio Out of our 3 medallists so far only one (Golubytskyi) will be in Rio Our athletes who are qualified for Rio showed very bad performances (except for Golubytskyi). Szabo, Hartung and Joppich all were eliminated very early Our best talents (Ebert and Stahlberg) also showed very bad performances
  10. In the end pretty much all russian athletes will be allowed to compete, even someone as disgusting as Isinbaeva. Thomas Bach will never have the guts to exclude Russia so he will find a way that some no-name russian athletes will be excluded while all the big-name russian athletes will be allowed to compete and then they will steal medals from clean athletes. IOC is at least as bad as FIFA, hopefully Bach will soon be gone. The results of the russian championships clearly show that nothing changed, tons of russian athletes made huge improvements out of nowhere.
  11. No, thanks to the stupid referee who didnt see that the croatian goalkeeper left the line way to early and was almost standing right in front of Ramos when he shot. Its crazy that the penalty wasnt repeated. At least croatian fans were able to control themselves this time, sadly UEFA didnt exclude the croatian team after the match against the Czech Republic.
  12. Thanks to the stupid referee in the match Spain vs. Croatia we will probably have a very boring final, with only one out of Spain/France/Italy/Germany/England in it. I wanted the most difficult possible draw for our team, which is now impossible and i dont even want to imagine a final against teams like Croatia or Belgium. UEFA will hopefully end this bullshit with 24 teams. We play 2 years of qualification just to eliminate about a dozen teams and then we have about 2 weeks of group stage just to eliminate 8 teams. Our first 4 games are (probably) against Ukraine, Poland, Northern Ireland and Slovakia, what the f**k is that!
  13. Good joke! Its very sad that Austria-Hungary doesnt exist anymore, i think they would be a (football) superpower now. Austria was probably the best nation around 1930 and Hungary was almost unbeatable around WW2. Austria-Hungary produced many great minds, i think the world would be a much better place now if Austria-Hungary would still exist in the state of about 1900. Probably no other country ever produced so many great minds compared to the size of population.
  14. I think its not Schewinsteiger and Berezutaki.
  15. On the one hand the tournament so far is pretty boring (few goals), on the other hand almost all matches are close and teams like Hungary, Wales or Iceland are doing a great job so far. Italy and Spain impressed me most so far, Belgium has been very disappointing, Croatia also was very impressive. I think the title should be between Spain, Italy and France, there is no chance that we will beat Italy in the quarterfinal, so we have to hope that we wont win our group to avoid Italy. Italy had the oldest starting XI in the history of european championships in their match against Belgium, Germany on the other hand is the youngest and most valuable team of the tournament.

  17. Yes he was injured and therefore also didnt compete indoor this year but he also has a different approach this year. Last year he had about 15 competitions before Beijing and he competed a lot in the diamond league, this year he only wants to compete 6 or 7 times before Rio, because he wasnt able to peak in Beijing last year and doesnt want the same to happen again. Storl was always known for performing at his best at big competitions, but in 2015 he wasnt able to do that. In 2011 he entered the world championships with 21.05 m and then improved to 21.78 In 2012 he entered the olympic games with 21.58 m and then improved to 21.86 In 2013 he entered the world championships with 21.04 m and then improved to 21.73 ... In 2015 he entered the world championships with 22.20 m and then ... only had 21.74 m in Beijing. He said that he competed with strong pain in many of his competitions last year and he still managed to set a new PB, although he couldnt use his normal technique due to the pain. He took a long break and wont compete much before Rio in order to "stop" the pain, but he will be again using his favorite technique and not the technique he used last year. I hope that he will be at about 21.60-21.80 before Rio, then he should be at about 22.20-22.40 by Rio. Just as a comparison: Majewski improved by 2 cm in 2015 (20.80 to 20.82), by 9 cm in 2013 (20.89 to 20.98), by 29 cm in 2012 (21.60 to 21.89), didnt improve in 2011 (he entered with 21.60 and had a mark of 20.73 in qualification + 20.18 in the final), didnt improve in 2009 (he entered with 21.95 and had a mark of 21.91 in the final) and improved by 54 cm in 2008 (20.97 to 21.51). About Bukowiecki: So ou really think that he can improve by about 0.4 m and that 21.50 m will be enough for a medal? For me both seems very unlikely ... Last year it took 21.69 to win a medal and i dont see why 21.50 m should be enough for a medal this year, i think Kovacs and Storl will be at 22 m and Walsh should also be somehwere between 21.60 and 21.80 m and a couple of other guys should also be at 21.60 or more. So if you exclude 2008, then even the "genes of Majewski" wouldnt really help Bukowiecki, because improving by 29 cm at most would bring him to 21.43, which shouldnt be enough for a medal. Apart from the fact that your "comparison" doesnt work (because even the "genes of Majewski" wouldnt help him), it really bothers me that your comment is "meaningless" at best, because you would have to say by how much he needs to improve in your opinion to have a realistic medal chance and how likely it is in your opinion for that to happen. About womens long jump: Its really interesting that no one even mentions the current world leader in womens long jump ... I also still hope for Mihambo, but sadly she was injured for a pretty long time and probably wont be at 100% by Rio. My prediction would be gold for Reese, silver for Bartoletta and bronze for Proctor/Nettey/Spanovic, Proctor in my opinion has the best chance for bronze among those 3.
  18. So you decide what "truly? fans of tennis" have to do? Great to hear, did McEnroe appoint you as the new Commissioner of Tennis? I thought it was Nastase ... Djokovic deserved to win RG, he was clearly the best player and at the moment is by far the best player in the world, no one can seriously doubt that. I just wouldve liked to see him play against Wawrinka or Nadal on his way to the title. I hoped that someone else would win the title and i consider myself a true fan of tennis and not just fan of a certain player, but i have no problem to congratulate Djokovic, his team and especially Boris Becker. I think Becker really helped Djokovic to reach a new level. Until the end of 2013 Djokovic won 6 slams, after Becker took over (beginning of 2014) Djokovic won 6 out of 10 slams.
  19. Oslo diamond league is "funny" to watch, there seem to be many african fans who travelled to Oslo.
  20. Great to see Del Potro in such a great shape again, he might be a dark horse for Wimbledon, i think he can beat almost anyone on grass, maybe except for Djokovic, Murray, Federer, Kyrgios and Raonic. I really hope that Del Potro or Kyrgios will win Wimbledon, it would be great for tennis, especially if Kyrgios would win his first slam. Edit: Federer was way off today, but one has to say that Fritz played really great tennis. He played much better than when i watched him the last time (against Ferrer), he seems to be more mobile than guys like Kyrgios or Zverev. I think most seeded players will hope to avoid him in the early rounds of Wimbledon and he might be the most promising youngster on grass behind Kyrgios.
  21. Are you trolling again or just kidding? There is no way he will fight for silver or gold and there are at least 3 guys who have much better chances for bronze. I think top 8 would be an amazing result for him in Rio. Its gonna be really interesting to see where he will be in 2 or 3 years. I thought that he was just another Jacko Gill, considering that he is already as muscular as all the top guys, so i didnt think that he would ever come close to 22 m, but i might have been wrong, maybe he can be a serious medal contender at a global stage by 2017 already.
  22. Are you sure about Petzschner? How did he qualify? I think there is still a possibility for no german male player in Rio. Kohlschreiber didnt want to play in 2012 and now that there are no points awarded i am not sure that he will play. Zverev might try to push his ranking by playing somewhere else, just like Tomic, Thiem or Kyrgios. I think Kerber/Petkovic and Siegemund/Beck will play womens doubles for sure. I dont think that Kerber will play all 3 events and i dont think that Zverev/Kohlschreiber will play mens doubles, so i think we wont have a mens double. I think we could see a combination like Zverev/Petkovic in mixed doubles.
  23. What happened with your predictions on day 14? Were you able to post your predictions in time?
  24. Our womens 4 x 100 m relay should be safe for Rio after their time of 42.00 yesterday. Our womens 4 x 400 m relay also should have a good chance to qualify after their time of 3:29.66 yesterday. Our womens 4 x 400 m relay missed two of their best runners, so we should be able to run sub 3:27 with out best relay, which would be 100% enough to qualify, hopefully they will be fit for the european championships. I dont have any hope for our mens 4 x 400 m relay.
