  1. Too late ... I gave my vote to hckosice, he can do with it whatever he wants now.
  2. Why lucky? I am doing this for the community and not for myself. I am not too interested in this contest, otherwise i wouldve decided to participate right from the beginning.
  3. Can i give you my ranking now? You can ask other users (tomorrow) and then you either take my vote into consideration or not.
  4. I have already listened to all of them and i picked 15 songs that i like, now i would only have to rank them. Edit: Down to 12 songs and i already picked my 2 favorites.
  5. Well, no offense, but i dont care what you think about it. We should try everything to have the easiest possible opponent in the next round without breaking any rules and by winning against Hungary why basically decided to play against the strongest possible opponent in the next round, which is just stupid and not "fair play". I think you can only call it cheating if rules are broken and by losing on purpose you dont break any rules, so its not cheating. Would it also have been cheating if we wouldve lost against Hungary by giving all our best players a break and playing with our weaker players instead? Many teams in all team sports do that an no one really complains about it, although its basically the same. You last sentence doesnt make any sense to me. Why wouldnt we deserve to reach the final if we beat a team like Czech Republic in the quarterfinal and then a team like Finland/Canada/Russia in the semifinal? We still wouldve beaten 2 of the 4 best teams, so we clearly wouldve deserved to reach the final even if we wouldve lost against Hungary today. In the end the only thing that matters is whether we hurt some other team by losing against Hungary or not. Only Belarus couldve complained, because Hungary wouldve been behind France and Slovakia even with a win against us today. Belarus lost against Hungary so you have to ask yourself whether they really deserved to be ahead of Hungary or not. In addition to that they still will be behind Hungary in the end if they dont win against France tomorrow, so unless they win against France tomorrow, the result of our match today wouldve had no impact on the table any way. I think we should first care about what is best for us and then we should try to not have a negative impact on other teams with our results, but if we can improve our situation by losing on purpose then we should always do it, without giving a s**t about what other people think. We for example expected Turkey to beat Netherlands at the european qualification event in womens volleyball this year and then Turkey lost on purpose and we therefore missed Rio, i have enough of it that we always are the nice guys while everyone else just cares about their own interests. Its the same in sport and politics, we dont have to be friends with other nations, we should only care about our own interests.
  6. Germany wont compete, the quota place will go to another country.
  7. What a horrible result for us, i hoped that we would lose on purpose to avoid Russia. Czech Republic wouldve been a clearly easier opponent for us. We just arent clever enough, hopefully Russia will score at least 10 goals against us.
  8. What do you think, would we have been better off with one of the following songs at the ESC? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNjG22Gbo6U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afl9WFGJE0M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSAqTdc-Y2g
  9. You are really a political genius, i assume you are rich now, so what will you do with all the money now? Obviously you knew a long time ago that Ukraine would win here?
  10. Just because you want to lighten up your mood, you dont have to post it here, this song should have been banned long ago ...
  11. Its her style, no one dressed her up ... Just watch her blind audition at the Voice of Germany. The song might be boring, but she clearly has a better technique/voice than pretty much all other participants and thats why she shouldve finished much better.
  12. The system isnt fair, but you should try to understand why we have this system. A final without countries like Germany would have clearly less people at home watching, so Germany is guaranteed to always reach the final. For the same reason Germany got a wildcard for 2015 handball world championships and for the same reason Russia wont be banned from the olympics. Its still funny that Turkey tries to buy everything with money, but when this system doesnt work in their favor, they complain about it and act as if they only want to fight for a fair system ...
  13. Ukraine only won because they had an anti-russian song, last year there was no song like that, so Sweden, a "neutral" country won. Sweden isnt doing anything at an international stage, so no one has a problem with them. If you want to win this contest, you should select a political song or some weird artist like Conchita Wurst or Lordi, please dont tell me that those are good singers ... Even Lena is a horrible singer, but she had a funny song and was good looking, which was enough to win. You just have to look at the british entries to know that this competition isnt about music really, otherwise GB would win this competition with their best possible entries every year.
  14. German result has nothing to do with the performance, Jamie-Lee is at least among the 5 best singers here, clearly better than the guy from Russia or the ukrainian girl, but this contest isnt about music.
  15. I agree about everything, i was shocked that Poland got so many points from the people at home, but in the end its not too surprising. 3 eastern european countries got the highest scores from people at home (Poland, Ukraine and Russia), i dont think its a coincidence. We have 11 points more than last year, but still last, i dont think that we can do anything to get a better result, this competition is 100% politics. Even the german jury decision seemed to be 100% political, Israel was pretty bad but we still gave them 12 points and our jury said that they also liked Belgium very much, i guess they just have a different taste. I would be really happy if we would leave this contest and save our money, we shouldnt finance this contest anymore.
  16. Yeah sure ... Thats also the reason why algeria didnt win, american people didnt want algerian music to become too strong, so they didnt allow Algeria to compete ... In addition to that i dont think that its possible to vote against someone and i dont think that many american people cared enough about this contest to vote ...
  17. Haha good joke, i guess Australia was only so good because of political reasons, the same was true for Ukraine and Russia. Some people voted for Russia for political reasons and some people voted for Ukraine for political reasons, but without politics everyone wouldve voted for Bulgaria ... Bulgaria was better than Ukraine and Russia, but Australia was better than all of them, i think top 3 wouldve been a fair result for you.
  18. What are you actually trying to say? You seem to be completely confused ... Israel, Azerbaijan or Armenia are also part of european sport organizations for example, so you cant compare those nations to Australia, in addition to that those countries for example dont have a completely different time zone and their are many more reasons why those countries are seen as "more" european than Australia. When did Armenia, Azerbaijan, Israel become part of ESC and when exactly should i have complained about their introduction? What a joke that Ukraine won, their song was horrible ... This contest is 100% politics, its really disgusting. Its also interesting that 3 eastern european nations (Poland, Ukraine and Russia) had more votes from people at home than all other countries ... I guess those were just the best songs ...
  19. So this contest wasnt planned for european nations only? You do know that this competition was created to unite Europe again after the second world war?
  20. We are on a good way to finish last, is that good or bad news for german music?
  21. Who the hell invited Australia? Sorry, but Australia winning EUROPEAN song contest is just ridiculous. Who will be next? Maybe we should invite China or Brazil?
  22. Who will finish last, Poland or Germany? Maybe we should have competed with the armenian girl, she seems to be pretty popular, but even with her we probably wouldve finished last ...
  23. I hope that Australia will win, her song was among the best. I hope that Germany will decide to leave this contest, we cant win anyway, no matter how good our song is, so we could as well just leave and save the money. Belarus gave 12 points to Russia ... This contest seems to be really fair!
  24. Are you serious? He sounds absolutely horrible, like a dying cat ... Is he the only german artist you know? I think Robin Schulz, Felix Jaehn or Zedd have tons of songs that are better than the best song Grönemeyer ever produced ...
