  1. For me, it's no problem at all. Manfred Mann were the first to release it so it seems absolutely fine to allow this entry represent GB. So as long as the American jury @dezbee2008 @Olympian1010 have no objections then everything is fine
  2. The World Grand Prix has kicked off this evening
  3. IRELAND After a tough selection process, the Irish national TISC committee have settled on a representative for TISC Open 2018. This year's chosen entry is Gary Moore with his single "Over the Hills and Far Away". The song featured on Gary's sixth studio album entitled "Wild Frontier" which was released in 1987 - I hope you will enjoy: IRELAND Gary Moore - Over The Hills And Far Away Lyrics: They came for him one winter's night Arrested, he was bound They said there'd been a robbery His pistol had been found They marched him to the station house He waited till the dawn And as they led him to the dock He knew that he'd been wronged You stand accused of robbery He heard the bailiff say He knew without an alibi Tomorrow's light would mourn his freedom Over the hills and far away For ten long years he'll count the days Over the mountains and the seas A prisoner's life for him there'll be He knew that it would cost him dear But yet he dare not say Just where he'd been that fateful night A secret it must stay He had to fight back tears of rage His heart beat like a drum For with the wife of his best friend He'd spent his final night of freedom Over the hills and far away He swears he will return one day Far from the mountains and the seas Back in her arms again he'll be Over the hills and far away Each night within his prison cell He looks out through the bars He reads the letters that she wrote One day he'll know the taste of freedom Over the hills and far away She prays he will return one day As sure as the rivers reach the seas Back in his arms again she'll be Over the hills and far away He swears he will return one day As sure as the river reach the sea Back in his arms is where she'll be Over the hills and far away She prays he will return one day As sure as the rivers reach the seas Back in her arms is where he'll be Over the hills Over the hills and far away Over the hills Over the hills and far away
  4. Yes, seems like you are right. I will remove the first song he posted now so everyone will know which song is the actual entry
  5. Hi Memo, was this song released before December 31st, 2013?
  6. They grow them big in your part of the world
  7. Wow, I am 179 cm and as of this morning I am 70.5kg. But you are a giant next to me and still lighter I am about my ideal body weight but still, in the next month I will probably try to lose a couple of kgs, because Christmas is around the corner and I will eat EVERYTHING
  8. And neck a whole bottle of wine when Diniz gets DQ'd or retires
  9. A drink for every super slow-mo showing the feet "lifting" and another for the commentators pointing out that the rule is "lifting must be visible to the naked eye in order to be penalised".
  10. They missed the Annual edition this year
  11. So far we have 4 returns: Chile, Egypt, Spain and Uruguay!
  12. Timo Boll In the final again! What an athlete! Great match, hard luck to Franziska.
  13. has never missed the Open contest so let's hope they will make it to the USA for this edition
  14. Murphy's Law sounds more Irish don't you think?
  15. So will today finally be the day that Ireland qualifies a showjumping team for the Olympics since Athens 2004? Crazy to think that it's been so long, but I still would not bet on it. Tough teams ahead and behind us in the standings.
  16. So great to see the team get a well-deserved big reception for their arrival home. Well done to all who came out to greet the team at such an early hour of the morning, our fans never cease to amaze me
  17. "Give me the job or else...." That should do the trick
  18. Don't tempt fate
  19. And then finish 7th tomorrow and 0.01 from Olympic qualification. And then all will be right in world of showjumping
  20. He had 2 good seasons but he was never reliable either in the way Cian O'Connor, Jessica Kuerten or Dermot Lennon were with their top horses.
  21. Yes I have
  22. Still though, hard to excuse that shambles But the truth is they were not strong enough to challenge. We haven't had a top showjumper who can deliver for a decade now, never mind 4 of them.
  23. Another epic fail for the Irish showjumpers We don't have any particularly strong showjumpers anyway.
  24. Well, Ireland will hopefully make it that far at least
