  1. They either stopped the decathlon high jump or the live results froze Also, these weather conditions anger me so much, because we had rain storms in probably 95% local competitions this summer season, which made it very hard to achieve qualifying results.
  2. It started raining, I call an advantage for our 800m. runner who has never competed in sunlight this season.
  3. Can I just say how much fun it was when the commentators called Grahovac Slovakian for at least 5 times It's a meme now in Totallympics.
  4. Well, I've always been a very huge athletics fan from a young age and I attend every local competition that is organised in my hometown. Luckily, we'll start huge reconstructions of our stadium and from 2022 we're already competing to get a lot of serious competitions for hosting. Lithuania is not a big country, so we'll never really be a powerhouse in anything (well, perhaps we could consider Rowing). And as for U18/U23, we don't really have anyone in U18, perhaps the two heptathletes could surprise. As for U23, we have one very strong athlete in men's javelin and one in the discus, but both are suffering from minor injuries, so it's hard to predict how that'll go. And we have a lot of potential to get high placements and finals in many disciplines, so this might be our strongest U23 we've ever had.
  5. Well, Eurosport seems primarily focused on U18, but as I assume they're only showing the evening sessions. I think I'll have to have excel files of our start times, two livestreams running, about 4-5 live results pages running and jumping constantly between them, which will probably resemble work more than entertainment.
  6. TEAM LITHUANIA 8 athletes in 8 disciplines Men's Team 800m. - Eduardas Rimas Survilas (PB 1:52.15) (also had qualified in 1500m.) Decathlon - Tomas Sabašinskas (PB 6770) Women's Team 800m. - Monika Šaltenytė (PB 2:12.46) 400m. Hurdles - Gabija Galvydytė (PB 1:00.64) (also had qualified in 400m. and 800m.) High Jump - Gintarė Tirevičiūtė (PB 1.77) Shot Put - Urtė Bačianskaitė (PB 15.98) Heptathlon - Beatričė Juškevičiūtė (PB 5514), Urtė Bačianskaitė (PB 5469) 5000m. Race Walk - Austėja Kavaliauskaitė (PB 24:31.97)
  7. Athletics IAAF Under 18 World Championships 2017 Nairobi (KEN) - 12 July 2017 - 16 July 2017 Totallympics Results Thread
  8. My body is not ready to watch U18 WCH and U23 ECH simultaneously At least I can chill on Wednesday, when U23 has not started yet.
  9. Congratulations, Croatia with the NR in the women's Javelin. Good luck in the upcoming World Championships
  10. From Lithuania, we only have a couple of cases that are close: Virgilijus Alekna, Discus Throw, participated in 1996/2000/2004/2008/2012, but ended his career in 2014 Austra Skujytė, Heptathlon, participated in 2000/2004/2008/2012, but didn't qualify in 2016 because of an injury, she is planning to end her career after this season, I think. Kristina Saltanovič, Race Walk, participated in 2000/2004/2008/2012, we have a very strong women's team, so she didn't make it in 2016, she is still active, but is missing out on the world championships, because she came in 4th in the qualifying event, not likely that she'll make it or even continue her career till 2020 And then there's Simona Krupeckaitė, track cycling, that started participating in 2004/2008/2012/2016 and I think she's working towards 2020.
  11. Is it usual for Kenya to finish the medal table with ~10 medals in the African Championships or are they having a bad year/their main athletes skipping the event? Just curious.
  12. Our Youth is looking great. Lithuanian U20 records were broken in two disciplines 110m. Hurdles - Rokas Ickys 13.60 Shot Put - Paulius Gelažius 19.55
  13. Well, your federation made a mistake, because when only two go up, only two can come down.
  14. The problem is that we have too many disciplines in which we are doomed to score 1 point, which is why we'll never be able to make an impression in the 1st division.
  15. I thought that it was only in 2019, I trust random sources too easily ^^ anyway, two seasons are not enough for us to give birth to talented hammer throwers and pole vaulters. There will be only some slight changes as some of our athletes will be back in two years time, but there's no space for speculation, when you never know who could get injured, who could quit and who could get better.
  16. Where can Team Slovakia and Team Lithuania buy tickets for the second league in 2019? We can start the preparations ahead of time. As for the 1st league banter, bring it on, I'm ready and I already can't wait. I hope it will be hosted by a country capable to work the camera and excel sheets.
  17. 2.5 points, not even close. Although we fell out two years ago only by 1.5 so all is fair in love & war
  18. From 3:16.30 to 3:10.98, so you were right. We had some different men in the line up, which must've helped.
  19. Thank F-ing God, we are back in the 1st league, baby We're back, Ireland (not for long, but still)
  20. Malaysia truly Asia, Israel truly update hell.
  21. Wish I would've been there to see this.
  22. Speaker A: Did we forget something whilst uploading the results? Speaker B: Nah Speaker A: Are you sure? Speaker B: Yes, let's go home, just like we did before posting the other results yesterday.
  23. Well, I think we're dead. Our SB for men is 3:16.30, which would be the 4th time in the B run. Seeing as we're going to start with 6-7 points against Slovenia after women's relay, it's over for us.
  24. I'd honestly be fine if they cancelled the relays right now Then we could add Slovakia in our rivalry as well.
  25. Before the relays: Slovakia 286.5 Lithuania 282.5 Slovenia 273
