I think that if I'd ever go beyond 10km's, I'd die. Of course, I'm running without water on hand and I still don't have the perfect clothing that I need, so it tends to get uncomfortable

I managed to run 10km for the first time in my life this year, the journey took over an hour I ran 5km nearly every day, but now it became too hot and I became too lazy.

There's nothing more painful/embarassing than comparing my running time with the professionals Let's just say I'd struggle to get inside 30 minutes with 5km

Never gonna trust Ethopia ever again.

@OlympicIRL Hey, I have a funny story for you Don't know if you've noticed, but there is this athlete Snezana Bechtina, that registered to the European Veteran Championships whilst still being Lithuanian, but decided to represent Ireland in this competition and won a 400m. bronze medal in W35 category with a time of 57.52

Eh, so only three finals for us so far in these World Championships (+ another one for Meilutytė tomorrow in 50 breaststroke). Titenis and Bilis underperformed horribly, Rapšys should have taken 100m. backstroke as well for at least another final. Perhaps there's a chance to get a medal from Rūta, since she has a very good start and it's only 50m. Still, pretty bad championships for us.

Honestly, it sucks for everybody, because you want to be able to achieve PB's and possibly other competition standards in competitions like these. Good thing there's still a full year for that before U18 ECH. Basically, athletes from smaller countries have less chances for that, because in most cases there's no one to challenge them in their own country.

If I recall correctly, it was the women's 100m. final where the wind was +6.6 ms and three girls ran under 11.60 There was also +3-5 ms wind jumping around in the semi-finals of 110m. Hurdles And +4 ms during the long jump competition.

We're still at two 4th places in this festival, I wonder if anyone is capable of getting a medal.

Honestly, not even our federation knows whose going to these championships. So many athletes hid their injuries till the final moment and some are waiting for qualifications through rating.

I think that you could watch our broadcast abroad, but I think that drowning would be a much more exciting experience. We always manage to find people that have absolutely no clue about the sport. A few days ago, I watched our Athletics championships and there was this guy that kept saying how triple jump is going to be very exciting (when two of our best triple jumpers were not present) and that athlete A (with 13.60~ PB) was in danger of being challenged for first by athlete B (with 12.39 PB).
