  1. I kinda expected more users to join. I'm a bit disappointed that things had to turn out this way, because now I won't be getting my two songs per year from Brazil, since they decided to not go along with this as well. @vinipereira and @titicow PM me a Brazilian song from 2019, you have amazing music tastes I have time for a Croatian song as well @dcro Anyways, have fun with the GIFS and I guess see you in The Netherlands, may the best Ireland win
  2. Well, personally, me and my good friend were both expecting a top 10 from these guys, but Fomin wasn't looking too good today on the skis and Romanov needed to step up a bit more.
  3. That was not a biathlete on the shooting range, he was not thinking at all. He hit the first target, then rapid fired the next 4 missing all of them. You can stop, adjust your sights, adjust your position, anything. He just went rapid fire 'whatever' mode and then even missed everything with the spare rounds. I don't know if he himself knows what he was doing there, but yeah.
  4. As seen in the picture above, Comola even threw away nearly 50 seconds on shooting time to Baserga as well.
  5. The shooting not good enough for our boys today.
  6. Interesting decision by our journalists The headline and the picture is the 7th place in sprint for Simona Krupeckaitė. Followed by two sentences about Vasilijus Lendel finishing 4th in Keirin Sidenote: nice that our women's team snagged a bronze, should help with OG qualification.
  7. Did something serious happen? Eckhoff out of the women's mass start, which doesn't do her well in the battle for the Overall.
  8. Very uninspiring start from our Youth. Mikoliūnas has regressed a lot from what I remember of him last year. Dinda and Aleksandrovas do not look like they're going to be super good biathletes in the future either. Knowing what the women are capable of, I think this age group is a miss for Lithuanian biathlon and we can only hope in what will come from the following two years. 2004-06 age group.
  9. In all honesty, we need Martin to have a son soon, or Johannes to have a daughter, so that in 20 years or such their rivalry would grow into an even bigger rivalry
  10. For the ones I know for sure, Linas Banys Maksim Fomin Jokūbas Mačkinė Nikita Romanov As for selection, health issues and other stuff, there's a good chance to see people like Ana Jesipionok Raminta Dindaitė Viktorija Augulytė Kamilė Jakubauskaitė Sara Urumova Gytis Mikoliūnas Darius Dinda Romualdas Aleksandrovas and probably one more dude in the youngster category alongside Gytis, Darius and Romualdas. Doubt that we have more women hiding anywhere, but I guess there's a chance a no-name gets a first international start in the Youth category.
  11. Shouldn't be any worse than 17th place for Lithuania with still some ability to fight on the track. Really did not expect such a good result, everyone put out their best today and that's the second start for both Vytautas and Natalija today.
  12. Natalija leaking time on the range, but still in the fight.
  13. Her shooting needs to survive and at the moment, I'm not trusting her too much in that department.
  14. A race of the season for Gabrielė. 10/10 shooting and moving faster than usual. Still in 15th place.
  15. 13th place for Lithuania looks great, but there's no Rasimovičiūtė for leg three
  16. Can't really cheer for Estonia as their men are our definite contenders in our fight for 4 starting positions in the World Cup Sad they wiped away their deficit with one single-mixed.
  17. Well, did one for the men, so it's fair to also do one for the women's individual and see if we're gonna get another long list of successful athletes: Third best result for Julia Schwaiger from Austria in 19th Personal best for another Austrian, Christina Rieder in 21st World Cup debut for Belgian Lotte Lie in 53rd Third best result for Canadian Emma Lunder in 10th position. Second best result for Canadian Nadia Moser in 79th Second World Cup start for Emily Dickson of Canada and 83rd place World cup debut for Chinese Ying Qu in 85th Another Chinese Hongru Chen also started in her first race ever and finished 99th Second best result for German Janina Hettich, finished in 26th place Third best result for Italian youngster Michela Carrara in 59th place Second best performance for Latvian Julija Matvijenko in 93rd place Personal best result for Karoline Erdal of Norway in 78th Personal best for Polish Anna Maka in 71st Second best result for Ana Larisa Cotrus of Romania in 97th Second best result for Larisa Kuklina of Russia in 13th Third best result for another Russian Kristina Reztsova in 27th A personal best for Swiss sister Aita Gasparin, finishing in high 9th place Personal best result for Veronika Machyniakova of Slovakia in 70th World cup debut for Anna Hedstrum of Sweden in 88th Second best result for Clare Egan of USA in 6th That's definitely a very long list of good racing for a lot of these women. Seems like the individual is a forgiving format in reaching personal bests
  18. Well, this race was pretty special. IBU posts the three best results of each athlete on their page, so I did a little bit of digging and today lead to: Debut World cup performance for Patrick Jakob of Austria in 91st The best ever placement for Tom Lahaye-Goffart of Belgium in 98th The second best performance for Maksim Varabei of Belarus in 28th The best ever performance for Jinle Tang of China in 43rd The second best performance for Estonian youngster Robert Heldna in 106th The third best performance of Jaakko Ranta of Finland in 80th The personal best of Fabien Claude from France in 3rd The personal best result of Philipp Nawrath of Germany in 4th The best result of Italian youngster Daniele Cappellari in 67th The best result of Japanese Kazuki Baisho in 95th Second best performance of Kosuke Ozaki of Japan in 54th Second best performance from Karol Dombrovski of Lithuania in 33rd Second best performance of Johannes Dale from Norway in 5th Second best performance of Eduard Latypov of Russia in 24th A World Cup debut for Russian Kirill Streltsov in respectable 17th place Second best performance for Slovenian Rok Trsan in 31st Third best performance for Slovakian Michal Sima in 50th Personal best of another Slovakian Simon Bartko in 44th World Cup debut for Oskar Brandt of Sweden in 104th Personal best for Ukranian Bogdan Tsymbal in 65th This race was truly SPECIAL and a lot of men pulled out their best on the track and shooting range to become better than they ever were or peaked at their best.A celebration of Biathlon in Pokljuka
  19. Well, World Championships often tend to not benefit the favourites with its extra pressure and other athletes come through with wins.
  20. I feel like I'm being spoiled, but Lithuania is in points yet again The only offside is that Tomas looks like a total wreck and even if he does those miracle runs during the World Championships, I don't know if he can lift himself up that much.
  21. It would be impossible to rank all songs. I struggle for weeks to get my 8th to 16th, I don't know how much time I would need to re-listen and rank the songs that I don't care about at all Edit: if we had semi-finals like in Eurovision, it would be a more plausible idea, because you wouldn't get overwhelmed with 40 songs at once. Edit 2: I'm not suggesting that we need semis
