Karin Oberhofer was doing fine and didn't get a chance before her retirement. Alexia Runggaldier had issues with health as far as I know, was trying to make a comeback, but not many chances taken on her either. Italy doesn't like to send full squads.

I fully expect Sweden to be the nation that has the best shooting scores this season. They shot really well last year.

Persson is fairly decent, not far off from what Brorsson can do. Hoegberg is definitely better than Nilsson, by a lot. Elvira is an unknown quantity though, her IBU cup results haven't been anything to brag about, but can't deny that she might have matured well during the off-season to earn that spot as a young prodigy.

I see the whole "fuck Hoegberg" schtick is on this year as well. Sweden never disappoints.

Honestly, I can't believe we're even discussing the idea of @bestmen getting the rights to host the contest. It is a contest about people getting together and spending a good time with music, yet he is even insulting other potential hosts in this thread. As much as I love both the members behind the USA bid, I really couldn't name another user other than @dcro that deserves the hosting rights more at this point. This statsman has been through it all.
