  1. Why not go ahead and have a non-binary gender relay as well since it's 2020? I've always wondered if the best women on tour would be able to crush our team's men.
  2. Well, the World Cup I think has less pursuits this year, but really a fuck tonne of relays that I would definitely cut down on to add one more individual or do something like a single-mixed concept with 30 athletes starting with short skiing intervals and 4 prone + 4 standing shootings with 20 best qualifying, 5 qualifying that collected most points during that stage and 5 qualifying based on best shooting percentages.
  3. Gandalf did offer them his staff you can't prove me otherwise.
  4. They cannot remove pursuits and such, because you needn't forget that IBU cup is not only a qualification competition, but it is also the gateway for younger, less experienced athletes from larger nations such as Norway, Germany, France etc. that would be sent off to the World Cup level, get a 35th place in the sprint and would have 0 pursuit competition experience compared to athletes that have long been on the tour. For example, Lithuanians ALWAYS go backwards in every single pursuit that they participate. Why? Mostly because we never qualify to them, so pacing problems, shooting problems, all of that really can be seen in a technical race such as the pursuit. And most especially that's the only HEAD to HEAD practice if you can't qualify to the mass start and in relays, the second leg from smaller nations is usually already out of it, so you're on the shooting range with two other people at best. Another point is that you can't overcrowd IBU cup with individuals either, because athletes from smaller nations would just die on the course. People lose 7 minutes in the sprint, seeing yourself 22 minutes behind in 104th place would not really inspire you to compete further.
  5. Honestly, I just imagined that after I proposed this idea, the other Totallympics members would rally behind me with: "You'll have my staff" "And my bow" "And MY AXE"
  6. Good thing TV is edging closer to being obsolete
  7. What a fiesta My two cents: if anyone removes the individual races from the programme, I'm coming after them with a weapon. Leave your super sprints and mass starts 60 for the IBU cup, thank you.
  8. I am extremely happy that I managed to fight my way towards two free days to follow the women's and men's individual races live from the comfort of my own home If the shooting goes well, we can expect some more good results from the Lithuanian team
  9. Okay, after two albums I'm a Hooverphonic fan.
  10. Woah, that's something completely up my alley, love it.
  11. Only if The Roop wins and I get my hands on the tickets.
  12. Yeah, it's definitely further than I'll ever make it if I go solo
  13. We got destroyed by 25k votes in the televote Lithuania really went hard on The Roop fan train, even though Monique is a very famous music star in our country.
  14. Well, damn. I was very close to visiting @heywoodu but our Eurovision performance finished in 2nd place and The Roop is going for Lithuania.
  15. With Jokūbas Mačkinė shooting clean for the first time in his biathlon career, that makes him the eighth Lithuanian male biathlete with a World cup qualification.
  16. and horrible horrible horrible for Otepaa that spent loads of money on snow machines, sold tickets and spent a lot of money on advertisment as well. So not only are they having a huge financial cluster, it's also not inspiring for their upcoming world cup debut in a few years.
  17. Yeah, our juniors in the IBU cup are not going to have a good time with so many strong athletes starting there, that didn't fit in the team here
  18. I put a lot of research towards Olsbu and I have her in gold for the mass start too, sooooo let's hope for the best Funnily enough, I did not place the Norwegian women relay on the podium at all aaaand I think I believed too much in Makarainen yet again, I never learn.
  19. I don't even know why I went for Eckhoff pursuit gold, honestly. I didn't feel like she's gonna do that great here and I should have went with my gut feeling. But it's still not as bad as my last years' "Johannes is not going to be on the podium in the sprint or pursuit, because he never performs too well in Ostersund "
  20. Well, feels like it's going to be the miracle World Championships for Lithuania It was easily a career best with one less miss for Natalija and that would have been amazing, but getting into points is very cool too. If Vytautas Strolia is going to sneak into top 10 tomorrow, just remember you heard it here first
  21. You know I'm an oracle when it comes to biathlon Although I'm fucked for women's pursuit most definitely.
  22. I'm hoping Kaukėnas recovered, so we could do this again in the men's relay.
  23. Damn My 1 2 and 3 finished 1 2 and 4, so not getting the full points. A pretty solid result for the Lithuanian team, Natalija and Gabrielė no longer look like dead weight and the ski speed from Vytautas is very very promising for the sprint.
  24. If Croatia doesn't win out on 7/8 odds after three failed bid attempts, we are likely to assume that @dcro has been cursed by a witch doctor years and years ago before there was even a Totallympics to be found.
  25. Kinda sad for Simon Schempp that he has not regained his form. He was usually a beast at Antholz. Runggaldier and Hammerschmidt are in the same boat, have not recovered at peak form, though they had some spectacular performances in Antholz.
