NO ONE is rewarded for a good season, those athletes went through diamond league, national trials, world championships and are already exhausted when it comes to the final! Lavillenie can't pass 5.63??? give me a break! 9.97 in 100 final? BS!!!

I dont know if it was discussed before, but am i the only one not crazy with this format? didnt really think about it until now that we reached the finals, but they basically turned the diamond league into another olympic games or world championships, with several qualifying round and a one and done final. Shouldn't the eventual winner be based on the entire season of achievements, and not just one race? for that we already have Olympic Games and World Championships

Do they put on the Olympic channel all the handball and volleyball matches? Or just medal contests

The Jump? thats what is odd? When Christian taylor won last 2 olympics, worlds and came in within 8 cm of a WR 2 years ago, or womens long jump where brittney reese dominates for quite a while as well, with SB of 7.13 and PB of 7.41! or did you mean the men long jump where we didnt even win gold but did win the gold in Rio. Oh you must've meant pole vault where Sandi Morris and Sam Kendricks won medals in rio already and Kendricks dominates the entire year, yea.... thats odd

This whole NHL thing is a real bummer, 2 past games for me USA hockey was a highlight of the games, the incredible final in vancouver , or the match vs russia in sochi. But with second rate players i will be interested in that probably as much curling..... that sucks, but i guess at least it will allow more time for all the other sports..... hopefully something will change, but not likely.

Why continue though? he wouldn't have gotten the WR..... his personal best is 6.00m, so chance to even get to 6.06 for a new championship record is slim

Honestly i didnt event notice Gatlin until They said his name after the finish, i was sure that coleman won, didnt even look down the screen (damn big screen tv! lol) so was happy that USA got gold, where the hell did gatlin even come from, great comeback anyway (by the way would it make anyone happy if coleman would win? since bolt finished 3rd then even if gatlin wasnt there he wouldn't win the gold)

YES YES YES YES YES! so we didnt win the vote, but i dont care, because in 2028 THE OLYMPICS ARE IN MY HOME TOWN!!!! i will be probably living in my car for the entire time, but my kids will be even old enough to take in this amazing experience with me, this is so exciting beyond words!

though i just realized that sochi doesnt have any official full events uploaded either, only london or vancouver, so i guess it's not going to happen

i wonder when all the full event videos from london were uploaded, i remember around sochi time they were already there, so maybe few more months? i had a lot of fun going back watching event by event from london between sochi and rio. I did manage to save a very large amount of videos in 4k (about 5 tb) but still missed some

oh yea i played every game since barcelona 92, it was always a lot of fun though mostly button mashing, it makes me sad there are almost no proper games with olympic sports, i basically just found handball game that i didnt really like

man i wish there would be a proper game but it's a start...... since sega australia closed down we got nothing, not to mention no rio game on ps4 it's a start and hopefully that means a proper tokyo game to take advantage of the current gen of consoles yes i wish there was sledding, skating, jumping but i think it's better then nothing

Ubisoft announced in their E3 press conference that their game Steep is getting a pyongchang expansion!!! the trailer showed the following events : Downhill Snowboard Cross Slopestyle Ski Cross Halfpipe PGS GS Super G Slalom Big Air Ski Halfpipe while it's not a huge list, it's better then nothing which we got in 14 and 16 i'm super excited!!
