Did anyone play this game? i'm actually quite enjoying it, sure it have a pretty low number of events (downhill, giant slalom, slalom, super g, slopestyle, halfpipe, big air, snowboard/freestyle cross, snowboard slalom) but it's pretty fun from what it does have. there are many people who can ski down a double diamond course, not in a speed of a trained alpine ski'er but still ski down safely, my uncle is in his 60's and ski's the most daring trails around lake tahoe

Guys, Question, are the courses, existing courses in the resort, or are they setting a special course? i never ski'd before, even though i always wanted to try (hopefully will one day) but if let's say i come to St. Moritz, or Cortina, can i ski on the downhill course, or it doesnt really exist outside the world cup competition days

Am i the only one who will have a much more diminished interest in hockey since the nhl didnt send out players? i was very invested in hockey the past few games however without the best in the world, i dont think i will really watch (which i guess is good, have more time for other sports)

no chance that usa gets anywhere near the medals in the team event, shiffrin is amazing but there really isn't anyone else, vonn is really a downhill skier and she is not in the shape she been few years ago before the injuries, and there is no one on the men's side (Ligety is too old by now, and was injured the whole season, dont think he will be near medals in the GS)

I believe she intends to start them all, and it's very possible to win at least 3 (slalom, giant slalom and combined with her slalom advantage), she did win a downhill this season and i believe she did well on her super g, there was no downhill/superg in a while but there are still 4 DH and 2 SG before the olympics (and 2 GS)

i wonder if she will actually be able to get 5 gold medals, she did win a downhill earlier in the season

yes, i see it now, Israel - Iran, Israel - Qatar, Israel - Bahrain, Israel - Saudi Arabia...... we can just qualify because so many teams just wont show up against us can we be in a group just with South Korea, Japan, China, Australia? wait, i dont think we can make it out of this group up until 1994 when israel joined uefa (someone remembers the amazing win in france ? 3-2 on the 94th minute against Eric Cantona and David Ginola), before that they were in Oceania and through there they qualified for the 1970 World Cup and also the playoffs for the 1990 world cup (lost to colombia)

That didnt change the tournament to it's very core, 8 groups instead of 6, still going to a round of 16 , now it will be 16 groups of 3 teams, moving on to a round of 32! and btw, they change to 32 didnt add that many teams per confederation, here they add 5 teams to Africa, 4 to Asia and make the final round of North America meaningless (this year there was only 5 legit teams in north america, and yes i know usa lost to trinidad)

well i dont know about 78-82 and big teams who missed the tournament then, but i do remember England and France not making the 94 world cup in the US

They just shouldn't expand, and then have a very convoluted tournament with 16 groups of 3 teams, the World Cup is Fine the way it is!

Eh, South America might still be ok since this year was very close and chile didnt make it (and they might get 7th place since they will probably get another playoff spot) but the other 3? 6 teams of Concacaf? 8 of AFC? 9 of CAF???
