    Why isn't Formula 1 in the Olympics? One race. Usually olympic countries have an f1 track anyway.

    Well I've been here for 14 years now (BTW i'm also from L.A). I haven't been to the Weighlifting worlds but i am planning to go to the rugby sevens world series that will be in Carson (also am a Chargers season ticket holder)

    Honestly i dont remember much, i left to israel when i was 8 (and to USA 14 years later) But that was right after the fall of communism in 91 so a lot of jews were running to either Israel or USA, my family chose Israel, and settled there

    Well I am originally from Ukraine so yes a lot of Ukrainians immigrated to israel

    It's not new. Most known Olympians are russian immigrants. Michael Kalganov who won a bronze. Alex Averbukh who won 2 world medals in pole vault but didnt do to much in Olympics. Konstantin Matusevich who was very close to a high jump medal in Sydney. Hanna knyazeva who won a silver in triple jump in 2015 worlds and was in the final in Rio. Sergey Richter also won some world shooting medals.

    Israel will never be good in any of those. The judo is in a special place because of 92 and Oren Smadja and Yael Arad. This is our national sport. Used to be sailing too however that went to the back burner In the Olympics out of 9 medals. Only 1 came from something other then sailing and judo. 2000 Michael Kalganov in canoe sprint

    Where are the lists of who qualified for the finals? i saw it on nbc's broadcast but not for all disciplines

    So team and all around gold is a given in Tokyo?

    I think so but shes probably pretty pissed for falling off the beam in Rio. Why would it be bad for gymnastics? Shes not Phelps. No way she will come back for Paris

    She's going for 6 golds in Tokyo, it's hard to root for USA Gymnastics due to the Nassar scandal, but i sure hope she (and Mikulak who so deserves it) have huge games in tokyo

    Why is it impossible to find any information for Continental Cups? FIVB part is still showing 2012, cev does have some info, but everyone else, no idea, it's ridiculous!

    But by rule they are allowed in the olympics? (i know they wont be in tokyo, but i'm hoping for LA2028 there will be a break and MLB will play)

    The question is, can we expect any prominent MLB names since it will be after the playoffs (mike trout comes to mind since the angels are god awful but he's amazing)

    I cheer against china because they are always our biggest competitor on top of the medal standings, but i wont apologize for cheering for USA, i'm an american(and israeli) and want the most success from my home countries

    He will be under immense pressure from NBC to show up, after all they can get huge rating for it
