Cool ... why should we care about random rumors? Why not just wait until there is an official decision? Also I doubt that the 2026 olympics will take Place in Los Angeles and i don’t think anyone can say today whether the 2024 and 2028 olympics will take place as planned. 

Just got tested today had to wait like 3 hours for a test even though there weren't many people in line. Awfully slow work. 

Except Delhi no state has experienced a second peak. Colleges and schools are opening across the country. Its 1 week to go for my college. All students and teachers have to submit covid 19 negative report before attending. 
 
Some colleges have gone with a successful biosecure bubble format where they are not allowed to leave the campus after test nor anyone can enter. Even teachers and non teaching staff are required to stay in campuses. 

The numbers are decreasing further day by day in terms of active cases and new cases daily as compared to September 18. AP went from 1.04 to just 55k active cases while kerala is one of the worst position states now witg peak expected in December or January. Even my state is now seeing cases break record every day after testing went up from 50-60k to 90k+ every day in last few days. Delhi went through the 2nd peak too, with 3rd peak coming in December. 30k - 9.9k - 32k - 24k... That order of active cases in delhi since june. 
Schools and colleges are reopening for students soon so it can increase further across country 
Lakshwadeep has still 0 cases of coronavirus. Mizoram still has 0 deaths of covid 19 after 1500+ cases

A big randomised sero survey of covid 19 shows 64 million people had been infected in india by the disease by May itself. As per the estimations by August end at least 1/4th of Indian population has been infected which could even be 2/3rd in worst case scenario as the sero survey results of August are out. 
 
However re infection percentage is very very less. Not sure if we need many doses of vaccine when it arrives .

I just realized this comes from a extremely biased right-wing source. Antifa is not involved in these protests in particular. Apparently this guy as “attacked” by some a while back, and has a personal vendetta against the group that clearly plagues his reporting (which I learned upon doing some fact-checking on him).

My town is not immune to the protests either. Our local police shot and killed a man about 2 miles from house a few hours ago. Right now, the details of incident are really murky. Police claim he had a gun, some people claim he was blind, and no one seems to know what race he was. Nonetheless people arrived at the scene to protest. It sounds like it’s remained largely peaceful, but I can still here the police helicopter flying overhead.

Not surprised. It was obvious that WHO was protecting Chinese interests from the beginning. It's hardly a surprise that nations who went above and beyond initial WHO recommendations have handled this situation best.
 
The fact that pandemic was pronounced only after a country like Italy went into a nation-wide lockdown is astonishing. WHO are the ones to blame for the pandemic reaching proportions we are witnessing today..

In a country with such liberal gun rights I find it not surprising that police acts so brutally. There is way too much risk a policeman gets shots on someone's back yard as people can store a whole gun arsenal in their living room.
 
In such countries like Poland where gun access is as strict as they come there is no such problem. We've had like one case over the past several years when some petty criminal and suspected drug dealer got tasered and died due to a cardiac arrest. That's just about it.
