Erin Brooks wins Repechage 12, and advances to the final 4

Kauli Vaast qualifies for the 2024 Olympics, despite him not advancing past Repechage 12, as he finished third ahead of Gutierrez.

Erin Brooks 9.17 wave during Repechage 11 placing first in her heat. Total score was 15.34 (9.17+6.17). T6 finish guaranteed at the 2023 ISA Surf Games.

Day 7 Olympic Qualification Summary Europe M: Quota will go to either Gonzalo Gutierrez or Kauli Vaast (Both in Repechage 11) Europe W: Vahine Fierro has qualified for the 2024 Olympics, after Pauline Ado failed to advance from Repechage 10. Asia M: Kanoa Igarashi (Main Round 7) holds a slight advantage over his compatriot Reo Inaba (Repechage 11). Reallocated Quota: Gonzalo Guttierez , Kauli Vaast , Cody Young , Alan Cleland , Lucca Mesinas , and Miguel Tuleda , Kanoa Igarashi , Reo Inaba are all in contention for a spot at Paris 2024 (All in Repechage 11 except Igarashi who's in Main Round 7).

And that's it, Vahine Fierro has qualified for the 2024 Olympics. Well deserved IMO, was so close to booking her ticket to Tokyo 2020, but just barely got beat by Ado at the 2019 ISA Surf Games, who ended up qualifying as France's second women's surfer.

Erin Brooks also advances to Repechage 11, with a total score of 11.44 (6.77+4.67). She's believed to be one of Canada's most promising athletes so watch out for her on the Road to Paris 2024/LA 2028.

Ado must place second in this heat or else Fierro will qualify for Paris 2024. Not looking too good for her with just under 10 minutes left.

Cody Young advances to Repechage 11, and finals day, winning his heat fairly convincingly. He increases his chance of securing himself a ticket to Paris 2024 (Now 12.5%). Total score was 12.90. (6.57+6.33)

Cam Levins withdrew from the upcoming World Championships, but will be competing at a “hilly” marathon in fall in preparation for the difficult marathon course at Paris 2024.
