  1. Yeldos Smetov wins gold!
  2. Garrigos takes bronze in golden score.
  3. Tsunoda wins gold. She controlled the final. Babulfath gave her much more trouble in the SF.
  4. Babulfath wins bronze. Not bad at age 18 in this sport. Abuzkhaynova looked injured here, she had some shoulder issue in the QF already.
  5. Boukli wins bronze with waza-ari in golden score. Martinez pretty much did nothing in this bout.
  6. Yeldos Smetov going for that gold then
  7. I'm using some Italian commentary. The breaking grip was one action before and she basically slipped?
  8. She was starting most of the attacks and Tsunoda had one lucky escape while being passive herself. To give shido in Olympic semi-final for the Swede was massive bullshit but guess glass has to be always full for Japan in judo. A complete and utter joke.
  9. Pro Japanese judging in judo? What else is new?
  10. Babulfath gets absolutelu screwed with a 3rd shido in golden score. An absolute bullshit. I hope wins gold now.
  11. Baasankhuu with ippon in golden score over Martinez
  12. Narvaez will finish in 7th place but there's a good chance this will be the best result for at these Games!
  13. The medal session has begaun. Boukli beats Scutto with waza-ari in the first repechage.
  14. Dygert slips to bronze medal and Labous down to 4th.
  15. Brown leads by 51 secs with 10 km to go. This goose is cooked.
  16. Lach beat Knibb by 0.03 but lost to our Slovenian export Bujak by 8 secs
  17. Even Knibb's service man fell down
  18. She pulled back from 6-9 to force over time but lost 10-11.
  19. Sadly I'm not quite a beginner. At least epee has the simultanous touch and makes it slightly less irritating than foil
  20. Sabre is the easiest to follow though. You need a lot of patience for foil and epee
  21. Iga Świątek beats Irina-Camelia Begu 6-2 7-5 in R1. Begu led 5-3 in the second set but couldn't force a decider.
  22. Arfa beats Szilagyi 15-8
