  1. Filip Mladenovic (current) & Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (former) represent the Polish Ekstraklasa in this one
  2. Let me guess, Bulgaria doesn't like Serbia much?
  3. Inaki Williams slipped. Otherwise it would be 3-3
  4. All hell breaks loose here... Ghana couldn't hit on empty goal... Portugal escapes with 3-2.
  5. Seidu is lucky not to be shown a second yellow card there. He should be subbed off right away IMO.
  6. Referees for Saturday matches are known. Wilton Sampaio gets Poland vs Saudi Arabia. Szymon Marciniak gets France vs Denmark
  7. Old Man Ronaldo can't even make the first touch work. Yeah, Portugal ain't gonna do shit with him wasting chances like that.
  8. And this is where vs will be played on Saturday. Don't expect a shootout there either
  9. The best thing is I predicted this game ending 0-0 in the contest Goalless draw #4 in 14 games so far.
  10. They are like Belgium & Croatia. Too many old-timers still in the squad. I didn't expect much from them here.
  11. Godin hits the post. This is quite a good match for 0-0 score.
  12. Those Koreans shirts with invisible numbers are not helping. Black usually absorbs light so the numbers are impossible to tell in exterior camera view. Especially that all Koreans have black hair too. I guess Son has a face mask
  13. Tories promised Scotland that voting Remain will guarantee staying in EU and yet it was England and Wales who took them out of it. A bitter lie that someone will pay the bill for, and I don't mean that complete idiot David Cameron who is making profit selling books about his stupid ideas. USA and Philippines independence all over again. Wait X-years because we want you to wait and STFU
  14. The time frame for "generation" is very loose and can easily be manipulated. Reminds me how USA promised to grant Philippines independence but later claimed "they were not ready" so kept the colonization in tact until WWII finally swept the cards from the table and USA had no choice anymore. Since Scotland was mostly pro-EU I guess Brexit has also altered the possible agreements. Anyway, it clearly shows how "independence" can be manipulated within democratic politicial frames. UK Supreme Court decides when you can decide about independence
  15. UK Supreme Court blocks the chance of another Scottish Independence referendum (the previous one was before Brexit). Imagine if that happened in China with Tibet. It only shows what double standards are applied all over the world and that democracy is only a word in some cases. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/11/23/uk/scottish-indepedence-court-ruling-gbr-intl/index.html
  16. Belgium & Croatia look like they are past their sell date which is no surprise. Canada should be furious how they wasted a golden chance to win a WC finals game. Sikazwe only adds 5 mins to the second half.
  17. Buchanan's shot probably landed in Canada. My god, does he know where the goal is? And he's not playing gridiron football?
  18. 13 shots by Canada in the first half but only two on goal (and one was the saved penalty).
  19. There it is. Belgium scores. All those Canada chances for nothing...
  20. Yeah, the wrong offside call basically prevented a second VAR penalty check. Things are never dull when Sikazwe is the ref (unless Poland plays Japan, a strange game where Japan losing 0-1 was enough to progress from the group so they didn't want to score a goal ).
