  1. As seen during the week the Porsche prize car is blue this year...
  2. John Higgins with a 8-0 whitewash of Kyren Wilson in the first session
  3. Iga Świątek defends Stuttgart 500 title beating Aryna Sabalenka 6-3 6-4 in the final. Either way these two are the best players on tour right now.
  4. You don't want to make Ronnie O'Sullivan angry and he beat Hossein Vafaei 13-2! But apparently the controversy is over given the post-match hugs Elsewhere Jak Jones beat Neil Robertson 13-7 in a clear upset.
  5. Not much to say about the Stuttgart SF. Sabalenka beat Potapova 6-1 6-2 and Ons Jabeur retired after three games with a calf injury. So we get the 2022 final rematch between Świątek & Sabalenka
  6. That benchwarmer would be Jasmine Paolini? She's fallen off the pace in the last few months, used to be Italian #2 behind Giorgi but she's basically dropped behind Trevisan and Cocciaretto on the pecking order to say the very least.
  7. Pete Alonso from Mets is the first player to hit 10 HR so far. Somewhat surprisingly Patrick Wisdom from Cubs is second with 9 HR. Cubs & Pirates are exceeding the expectations in the first month of the season but let's see how long they last.
  8. Moving on into Stuttgart SF - three of the top four seeds made it through. Still on course for last year's final rematch (Świątek vs Sabalenka). Iga Świątek (1) vs Ons Jabeur (3) Aryna Sabalenka (2) vs Anastasia Potapova
  9. women won all three pool matches.
  10. Hossein Vafaei is really trying to poke the bear aka Ronnie O'Sullivan. This could end ugly... Nobody breaks off full-throttle in snooker...
  11. R1 matches are over. Si Jiahui caused an upset by beating Shaun Murphy 10-9 and now he faces Robert Milkins in R2.
  12. Stuttgart 500 QF line-up: Iga Świątek vs Karolina Pliskova Caroline Garcia vs Anastasia Potapova Ons Jabeur vs Beatriz Haddad Maia Aryna Sabalenka vs Paula Badosa
  13. It seems like the axe has officially dropped on A's moving to Las Vegas? The same old trick worked, sell out every viable asset, play some horrible baseball and blame the fans who don't show up to watch this crap for not showing up as reason of moving to another city. All in all, Oakland has totally expired with the modern major US sports, even Warriors are in San Francisco now? Meanwhile Arizona Diamondbacks have finally seen enough of the Madison Bumgarner shitshow and DFA his ex-MVP ass. About time. He was downright terrible since the second half of 2022 to say the very least. Due to Dodgers bullpen sucking above means so far Arizona is somehow leading the NL West right now so they might have a feel good story available if not for Bumgarner's every start being a potential loss by default.
  14. Joe Perry led 7-2 vs Robert Milkins and lost 9-10 in some very ugly snooker collapse
  15. Belinda Bencic has withdrawn from Rome & Madrid 1000 tournaments with a hip injury
  16. First big upset in R1 - Anthony McGill beats Judd Trump 10-6. McGill was always one of the more tricky unseeded players and you could argue he was actually unlucky to draw Trump from the seeds.
  17. Kyren Wilson made a 147 break in R1 vs Ryan Day and leads 6-3 after the first session.
  18. Jelena Ostapenko trashes Emma Raducanu 6-2 6-1. It's clear Raducanu shouldn't be nowhere near such a stacked field but accepted WC as Porsche brand ambassador only to get eaten alive by Ostapenko who won 16 points in a row at one stage Karolina Pliskova didn't waste time to dispatch Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-3 either.
  19. Meta Hrovat's retirement is over https://demokracija.si/sport/zanimiv-preobrat-meta-hrovat-se-vraca-v-tekmovalno-smucanje-spremembe-tudi-pri-trenerjih/
  20. Biden is a complete senile fool but good luck on him putting that ban on international sports scene. Thankfully US government isn't that powerful to ride the transgender nonsense everywhere in the world.
  21. The highly stacked indoor clay Stuttgart 500 has kicked off. Wins for Donna Vekic, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Paula Badosa in R1 so far.
  22. Two hours and it's done. Hossein Vafaei wins 10-6! His first win at The Crucible after a complete dominance today. R2 vs Ronnie O'Sullivan should be very interesting
  23. Vafaei wins the first three frames of session two and takes the lead 7-5. Almost a must-win frame for Ding before the intermission.
  24. Luca Brecel beat Ricky Walden 10-9 in the first deciding frame match of the champs. Ding Junhui leads Hossein Vafaei 5-4 after the first session, the second will start in two hours (I assume it's for the Asian market time zone?).
  25. @DragonYeah, it's obvious leftover from the COTA race where Button drove this car but I have no idea how those TV graphics are stored for broadcast purpose. I reckon different people work on different races especially in such a multi-round series like NASCAR but obviously there's the question does any "supervisor" actually read what is about to be shown on the TV screen?
