  1. I noticed that part and I was looking for an answer which @phelpsprovided. I don't have knowledge if U-21 defenders have historically being brought up to NHL or toiled around in farm systems like AHL. I checked if Paul Coffey was playing in AHL and he didn't as he was in NHL in age 19 season already hence my original assumption
  2. How many games they play in AHL if 34 points is a record that stood almost 50 years? Unless all the good defencemen skipped playing full-time down there?
  3. FOX with the alternate universe version where JJ Yeley was the Formula 1 world champion
  4. How long it takes before everyone in England realize that Frank Lampard isn't a good manager and should just sit in TV studio at best? Three matches and three losses since he rejoined Chelsea. Can't believe someone will still give him a EPL job after this nonsense that only appears to be heading one way...
  5. Trevisan & Cocciaretto win 7-5 in the deciding set of the doubles. Slovakia were very close to pull off the upset (probably only because Giorgi didn't play today due to some knee issue).
  6. not dead in the water yet after Cocciaretto lost in relief to Hruncakova (Kuzmova). Giorgi & Trevisan won on Day 1 but the second line-up couldn't get one singles win so it goes to the doubles.
  7. Yeah, China is back like expected. Nobody was willing to replace their money, least of all those human rights loving democratic countries from the Western hemisphere. Talk is cheap but money talks louder in the end "Majority of players" support the return according to WTA CEO Steve Simon. You bet they are! https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/65260468
  8. Rays are 13-0 so tied Braves '82 and Brewers '87 best start of the season ever. Tomorrow they head off to Toronto which is struggling to put away the Tigers in the afternoon game right now
  9. WRC rally driver Craig Breen died in a testing crash ahead of Rally Croatia today
  10. Mariners pitching sucks this season so far. They led 8-0 after three innings but Cubs won 14-9. Meanwhile Rays beat Red Sox again and are 11-0 on the season
  11. Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3-0. I mean Bayern's dominance of Bundesliga becomes even more worthless given how they started to lose ground on the European scale in the last few years.
  12. Another women's friendly: beats 4-1 in Rotterdam. I see Pays Bas put all their best players for this match for whatever reason We even led 1-0 thanks to Pajor but that was it.
  13. Tampa Bay Rays become only the 7th team in MLB history to start the season 10-0. Previous six were Dodgers '55, Pirates '62, Indians '66, Athletics '81, Braves '82 and Brewers '87.
  14. Sir Safety Perugia which won all 22 games in the Italian Super League regular season (losing only 11 sets) crashes out in QF vs Allianz Milano 2-3 in best of five This means for the first time since 2017 the league final won't be played between Perugia and Cucine Lube Civitanova. Last time neither of these teams were in the final was 2015.
  15. BJK Cup this week including vs @hckošice The real Italian #1 has landed in Bratislava already!
  16. Not sure about the Bogota mascot Most WTA events don't have a mascot to begin with...
  17. Bencic only had to play a tie-break today so it didn't make any difference. Her SF was stopped at 6-6 in the second set.
  18. Jon Rahm wins 2023 Masters (-12) Koepka & Mickelson four shots back. Impressive performance after he was one of those who had to finish the third round today after all the rain. He started the final round two shots behind Koepka.
  19. Four holes to go and Rahm leads by four after Koepka bogeyed the 14th (Mickelson in clubhouse 2nd has finished at -8).
  20. Six holes to go and Jon Rahm leads by three shots over Koepka, Spieth & Reed.
  21. This week's tourmament finals: Charleston 500 (green clay) Ons Jabeur def. Belinda Bencic 7-6(6) 6-4 Bogota 250 (clay) Tatjana Maria def. Peyton Stearns 6-3 2-6 6-4 Next week is for BJK Cup and then we go to Stuttgart 500 indoor clay (Istanbul 250 cancelled after the recent Earthquake).
  22. Mavericks will miss the playoffs. They didn't even want to compete for the play-in as Doncic played 13 mins in a must-win game vs Bulls They still needed to win their last game and count for Oklahoma loss but why bother? Kyrie Irving can and probably will leave after the season so this mini-experiment turned out to be a complete failure. Zero defense still means minimal chances for success in modern NBA, just ask the Rockets...
  23. Even a Yordan Alvarez Grand Slam can't stop the Twins who beat Astros 9-6 Rays still unbeaten at 7-0, Brewers at 6-1 the second best team through the first week. Angels lead AL West despite losing the home opener to Blue Jays yesterday (in vintage Angels fashion, only Trout & Ohtani with hits and the bullpen sucks).
  24. Meanwhile Michael Johnson has a plan how to make athletics better. Diversity? Neah, not when field events are in town What a load of bull crap here...
  25. Play halted on Day 2 of the Masters after some storms and tree fell down. McIlroy down & out at 5 over so he won't even make the cut. The media hype gone for naught again
