  1. I see even reddit quotes a Polish article as we're probably the only country in the world which has so much interest in the sport. The "mystery" ski jumper whom Hajek had an affair with is Karolina Indrackova.
  2. It's still not as stupid as the Argentine league system with relegation decided on some average points from 2 or 3 seasons combined? Or did they finally get rid of that?
  3. The most memorable thing involving the name Verstappen & Interlagos (and I won't mention him denying JP Montoya his first F1 victory in 2001) is the flip in 1994 when Martin Brundle almost got whacked in the head in the process.
  4. I literally remember better things that happened 20 years ago than 5 years ago. I literally don't remember much from the Mercedes hybrid dominance era. It's completely blurred from my memory. I can't even tell the exact number of wins Hamilton has. I can tell you the 1993 race, Andretti & Berger startline crash, Katayama & Suzuki causing a FCY and Prost spinning off in sympathy. But I sure can't tell anything from 2016 race, least of all if it was raining
  5. Well, the race used to be held in March and the only rainy Interlagos GP I remember were in 1993 and 2003, the latter of which prompted a change to October/November date (and also leave a spot for Bahrain GP ).
  6. Well, November in Europe is kinda bad for outdoor activities, it would be more hype with the summer parties & beer like it usually is around World Cup. In Poland the news is the national stadium roof has had a failure and we have to move the Chile friendly to Legia Warsaw stadium
  7. Kevin Magnussen takes a shock pole position at Interlagos after a rain after red flag means nobody can improve times in Q3. It's only pole for the sprint race so it will be hard for Magnussen to even be Top 10 for the Grand Prix itself but in the record books this is an official pole position. It's the first for a Danish driver in F1 and the first for Haas team (Mick Schumacher promptly finished last in Q1 so he can truly leave the series here).
  8. I assume Ecuador is waiting until the last moment even though the Byron Castillo fake passport has technically been cleared by FIFA?
  9. @Roamingrover86Team squad (one player from Polish Ekstraklasa - Filip Mladenovic ).
  10. Sadio Mane makes the Senegal squad despite the recent injury
  11. Other than ISU is there any other governing body that bothers with a "global" four continents championship? This sure looks like one huge manipulation from outside. I mean the World Championships are basically held annually anyway so what's the point? PS. Liu brothers are back to China? What happened other than money?
  12. But why call it Four Continents when you can call it Four Nations championships? Why even bother with the minnows?
  13. Yet Africa is obviously nowhere to be found and likewise Australia (and we pretend South America belong to Americas as a whole). What is the value of winning a Four Continents championship if you know it's basically five nations competing - Canada, USA, Korea, China & Japan? Will any other country even have a shot at medals? I mean Japan isn't really that good in short track either. Unless some nations start fielding naturalized Koreans
  14. Is Europe really that dominant in short track they need a Four Continents event? I could understand Four Continents in handball but this? Or is this just a B-team event to begin with?
  15. Polish media run a story earlier this week that Araujo should indeed be ready for World Cup.
  16. And here is Team Poland. The fat idiot realized that four GK make no sense despite what he said last week. The only questionable call is old timer Jędrzejczyk over Bochniewicz but it's a bench warmer at CB. No place for annoying Reca & Puchacz who have done next to nothing in NT.
  17. We're talking about a country that has the same two parties in power for 160+ years They are both equally worthless at this stage.
  18. Caroline Garcia wins the YEC 7-6 6-4 over Aryna Sabalenka in the final. The rankings don't quite show it but Garcia has been the second best player this season behind Świątek. Quite a comeback to relevancy after her Wuhan & Beijing titles in 2017 vaulted her to top 5 but she's done nothing noteworthy until 2022.
  19. Don't underestimate the ineptitude of our HC. The NT hasn't done anything during Lewandowski's tenure, even the Euro 2016 QF was all down to playing defense (we conceded two goals in five matches and that was only after Szczęsny got injured in the first game and Fabianski played the rest of the way instead ). Players like Krychowiak and Glik are done, they will most likely retire from NT after the World Cup but the reality is they shouldn't even be there. If Mexico is smart they should play at Krychowiak and get him booked ASAP if not send off - even Slovakia somehow figured it out last year at the Euros @hckošice
  20. I don't expect you to know it but Michniewicz was involved in match-fixing in Ekstraklasa back in early 2000s, he went to the prosecutors and testified that he doesn't know anything but was later found to have made 711 phone calls with the match-fixing guru. He's a boring, defensive-minded coach who parks the bus and plays long ball to Lewandowski for all it's worth. When he was U-21 coach he couldn't beat Faroe Islands... twice. Now he will crowd the NT with his buddies from U-21 and Legia Warsaw to appease a certain agent (Mariusz Piekarski who used to play for Atletico Paranense & Flamengo in the 90s) who is his personal agent too. In other words, I prefer Sousa Idk what club do you support but if it's Flamengo then you might not like Sousa these days True but even with four GK (should be Szczęsny, Skorupski, Drągowski & Grabara) he will still find a place for Ekstraklasa old timers like 35-year old Artur Jędrzejczyk who hasn't played in NT for three years and nobody wants him back (he would have been called up for Nations League but was injured, hell, he got injured two weeks ago again so maybe football gods are trying to intervene here ).
  21. Yeah, Dani Alves got a "life-time achievement" call-up just in case Brazil actually wins it? Poland will announce the squad on Thursday. Our idiot coach said he will call up four goalkeepers Even if we go Greece '94 and swap them after every group loss, there won't be game four to use all of them
  22. Well, with Hojnisz skipping the season Kamila Zuk has nowhere to hide anymore. But I've lost hope with her even before last season
