  2. Happy New Year everyone!! Always good to be waking up in an Olympic year!!
  3. There’s a problem in Shooting as Bangladesh were awarded a Boys Air Rifle Tripartite before the Asian Qualifier, but they then qualified a quota in the same event at the Asian Qualifier? What is the procedure for this, as there is a max of 1 quota per nation for each event?
  4. It’s the same in all sports 2x Top 67% results. But what classes as a Top 67% result varies by sport, in Cross Country it can come in the World Cup, Scandinavian Cup or Alpen Cup. In Alpine it can be in the World or Europa Cup. In Snowboard it can be in the X Games or Dew Tour. So it does seem a very loose qualification criteria, potentially favouring some sports like Snowboard/Freestlye as they have more opportunities to achieve the Top67% result.
  5. @dcro @Dragon I think they might have both finished in the Top 67% twice! In Alpine Skiing they base the Top 67 off the World Cup Start List, therefore it's not that odd to base this off a combined rank of World and Nations Cup: World Cup Innsbruck Top 67% = 48th - Staudinger 47th, Rosen 48th when World Cup and Nations Cup are combined World Cup Winterberg Top 67% = 47th - Staudinger 45th World Cup Altenberg Top 67% = 42nd - Rosen 41st
  6. Oh, I didn't realise that they had more than 3 athletes qualified across all the events!
  7. I don't think that is right. I've had a look and I think they are ranked 37th and 38th (once 4th athletes from relay nations) have been taken away and only the top 36 qualify. The mistake on the Wikipedia page is that Italy has qualified 3 athletes, not 2 and Kazakhstan has qualified 2 athletes, not 1.
  8. Congrats @OlympicIRL you really have a magic touch at selecting perfect songs for TISC! What an achievement to keep the prize in the British Isles for the 4th contest in a row! Also congrats to @amen09 for organising a great concert, it’s a huge amount of work and the fun we all have wouldn’t be possible without a committed host!
  9. It’s on my playlist and I still love it every time it comes on as much as I did when I first heard it!
  10. That’s fantastic!! I remember all the years when I would be one of the only users to give big points to amazing Indian songs! So glad they’ve finally got a decent result!
  11. 5 points from Indonesia is fantastic! It means our first non-English language song will not be our lowest ever scoring! Thank you @Griff88
  12. Has this issue with 1 point extra for Ireland and USA been resolved?? Because it could really come down to something as small as this!
  13. We’ll just keep sending Welsh language songs! That has given some other countries a chance this time!
  14. Wow thank you @justony and @Agger @dcro I was about to say we seem to be raking in the big points without collecting many low points! Would be a shame if our first non-English language entry would be our lowest scoring entry ever, so hopefully we can score more than 89 points
  15. Thank you @Glen for the wonderful points! This is turning into a very exciting contest indeed! With such a small gap and so many nations from the Americas at the top! This is going down to the wire!
  16. Don't worry about it! Glad I've started a little run of points for you!
  17. You're welcome!! It's such a great song and deserves to do really well today!
