  6. With Final Fantasy VII as a PS4 exclusive in early 2020, the PS5 had better have backwards compatibility.

  9. I feel this format is much more balanced. I really love watching the AC in major events (not so much in world cups) so I am glad it is sticking around. It is good to have one race in the program of major events that rewards all-rounders.

  10. The Algerian Sailing Federation on Facebook has results Here are the nations entered in each event Men's RS:X Women's RS:X Men's Laser They accidentally reposted the women's RS:X so we don't know who is in the women's laser radial.

  12. Yep, just under one and half days older. I was born at 01:21 on October 10. Almost had that October 9 birthday. Im glad I was born on the 10th. Because my 10th birthday in the 2010 was 10/10/10. Oddly enough I was also born 10 pounds 10 ounces. It should be rather easy to figure out my lucky number and reasoning for my username then

  14. There are already too many slalom/GS/parallel races if compared to the number of downhills/SG during a season, so nothing wrong with giving speed skiers a bit of advantage in the alpine combined...

  15. Depends what time you were born. I’m willingly say I’m a day and half older. Also, I never knew we were the same age. Why am I the one that gets teased for age when there’s at least 3 users younger than me?

  18. So not only they will not remove the Alpine Combined, but they will improve the amount of races in the calendar, already 4 AC races for W and 3 for M this season with one big change : The starting order in slalom, The winner of the DH/SG will start first in the slalom and not 30th like it was before ! https://www.fis-ski.com/en/alpine-skiing/alpine-news-multimedia/news-multimedia/news/news-2019-2020/updates-from-the-fis-autumn-meetings

  24. Do you mean getting a quota thanks to reallocation of the tripartite invitation? Very unlikely. According to the results of the World Cup series so far, no one from the reallocation list is currently in a position to qualify in any apparatus. I don't believe that any gymnast who has been reallocated so far has a chance to secure a quota through the all-around World Cup series or through the continental championships, either. This means that, in theory, she needs to hope for someone either getting injured or giving up their quota. I'm not sure South Africa will confirm Rooskrantz's quota. They are very strict in their criteria for allowing athletes to participate at the Olympic Games, and she might not have done enough according to SA's Olympic Committee, but we shall see.

  29. Wow, our federation is being really stupid. They say that both Tin Srbić and Ana Đerek are "almost qualified". Either they can't read the document, or they can't think for themselves. It doesn't take a genius to understand that only two unqualified athletes made the horizontal bar final.

  31. Always against Italy! Chips showing nobody is walking regularly is not a problem: like Evan Dunfee said earlier, if the rules change, the walkers simply change with them. People who have no idea about race walking (most people that is ) always say walkers are cheating, but that's just not true. Unless of course every foul in football is cheating as well, for example.

  32. actually race walking was always held in short circuits (max 3k) plus a short stint to exit/enter the stadium because they still had a restrict number of judges (the difference was that until a few years ago, the judges were taken fron the NF of the organizing Nation, so they could afford in certain cases to have a bigger number of them -but that always led to many inepts covering that role and making disasters in terms of allowing athletes to infinge all the rules or disqualifying people who were walking perfectly only because of political pressure, even more than nowadays...meanwhile right now there is a panel of judges -still bised when not corrupted, but this is another issue- who are always the same covering the global events...this was done because iaaf wanted to have more uniformity in judging, but we're still well far away from having a fair and objective situation)... the chip question, is far from being approved...there is a lot of controversy and many coaches / athletes are against it, because it would certify that nobody is walking regularly...suspension is almost physiological at the speed they walk nowadays...and it doesn't solve the real problem, the interpretation of the knees being blocked or not, which is what makes today's race walking a farce, as they allow always the same athletes from the same Nations to run instead of walk...

  33. Somehow they managed to cover the course back in the 80s or 90s? Besides, it's only a matter of time before they install electronic chips in the shoes IMO.

  34. Our NOC announced that 5 of our lifters were caught doped in the last African Games without naming them but rumors says that Sara Samir is included in this list so it's officially over for our weightlifting the sport could even die here in Egypt, Mohamed Ehab announced his retirement unless he can participate under Olympic flag or something which isn't available ofc this's what we got from conflicts in our federation I seriously started to hate Egyptian sport with this bunch of losers governing our federations
