I will spin both, to select pairings. Juries voting 1-18 in the order will be paired with a jury from voting blocks 19-36. I will communicate the results once complete.

  10. With times like this I would never say no to moving it forward an hour, but if not, the chance is still fairly good I'd post the Dutch votes anyway I mean, European users have had the 'good' (daytime) hours almost every single TISC anyway, so if this time that's not the case, so be it

  11. Official Announcement All of the votes have been counted. I will send each jury their themed post for the Grand Final over the next two/three days. I have also added provisional timings for the opening ceremony and Grand Final to the first post on this thread. The draw for pairs (for the team event) will likely take place on Thursday. I will communicate more once plans are finalized.

    [OFF TOPIC] Politics Thread

Well I’ll translate, he quoted the bible, and then he compared between the words of the bible to the situation in Gaza, he said that we try to bring prosperity and they try to demolish us like in the bible and just like in the bible where they shut down wells of water the IDF shut down tunnels , and just like when David’s army brought back the forskin as the symbol of victory, our army will be the one who will bring the forskins( metaphorically) meaning that we will be the victorious ones. This is weird compensation by a F graded minister , but by no means anyone thinks we are going to cut anyone’s forskin, though we do wish to be with the upper hand in this case, btw I’m here to answer questions, I mean questions the are not intended to just piss off , genuine questions

  16. Still something needs to be done about the whole equipment saga. Whether that's neutral wax, very strongly limiting the number of skis, whatever. It is absolutely batshit crazy that most of the big-country athletes have 40 or even 50 pairs of skis with them. Limit it to a maximum of say 4-5 pairs of skis per athlete per World Cup round, that is really, without a doubt more than enough. Add something like a neutral wax provider to that, with a limit number of waxes one can use. It takes out at least some of the insane advantage the big teams have with their research budgets, while still including the actual skills of the waxers in applying them correctly and choosing correctly (from the limited number of options that are available to everyone).

  17. looking at the preliminary start list for the Final GP, Iran registered only 3 athletes the rest are probably preparing for the Grand Slam and apparently our federation thinks Nahid Kiani is already 100% safe and doesn't need to participate (which is wrong, she is 99% qualified but not 100%) our 58kg who is in a close race for the quota is a bit injured, but if he gets lucky even going to this GP and winning the first round (or even losing it) might be enough for him. but at the moment I'm only worried about the notorious host country, they denied visa last year but that was just another Grand Prix, this one is the final grand Prix. the most important tournament in this 4 year qualification cycle. WT can't stay idle and do nothing if it happens again (oh yes they can and they will. the world is not fair)

  18. If I've calculated this right; the following quotas are basically mathematically safe already - there are a handy handful who would need to be monumentally unlucky to be squeezed down to 6th, or out of 6th where Grand Slam comes into play, GBR, UZB and KOR in W=67 for example, but mathemtically they aren't, I think guaranteed top 5 in the rankings even with a hundred points: M - 58 M - 68 M - 80 M + 80 W - 49 W - 57 W - 67 W +67

  21. For every athlete per gender qualified through the rankings, France will see a decrease in its host quotas. Currently, France has athletes in world ranking qualifying positions in women's -67kg and +67kg. They will qualify through the rankings and the host quotas will be reallocated as tripartite quotas. This also means unless there's a last minute shuffle in the rankings the men's -58kg and -68kg will not award tripartite quotas.

  30. There is not too much update, besides confirming quotas in men's volleyball and four quotas in road cycling. I would change only in table tennis from 1-2 to 0-1 as only Natalia Bajor have any chance for being qualified to Paris, also in triathlon Paulina Klimas is now outside qualification place, but I'm hoping that she will move enough high later to get a quota.

  32. I hope me and the wife can attend some events. My wife's uncle and his family live near Verona, so a family visit could be an opportunity to witness some events in Milano live. My wife likes figure skating, so that is on the wish list of events to attend. Personally I would love to attend one of the ice hochey games, but it would also be fun to watch either short track or speed skating live.

Boks - racunam jos 1 do 2 kvote. Rvanje - jos 2-3 kvote. Tenis - 4 kvote. Stoni tenis - mozda 1 zenska kvota. Siguran sam da postoji jos neki sport gdje imamo sansi, ovako na brzinu bi to bilo to.

  38. Polls closed at 21.00 and so the first exit polls can now be published, and they're quite a shocker. Absolutely massively good picture for PVV of Geert Wilders: a staggering 35 seats, 9 more than leftist PvdA/GL and 12 more than ruling centre-right VVD. Damn. Of course it's only exit polls, but it's usually not like the actual result is different by 5+ seats.
