  5. Lets see what happens. People forget that a century ago Argentina was richer than Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece etc...I don't think using the US $ as currency is enough though - I'd go back to gold coins. Roman ones.

  11. Invert Samoa and PNG and we're kinda good. As I said, most of the participating teams will battle each other out in the Challengers, thus creating a coherent draw. Not that it matters in a winner-takes-it-all tournament but that's more fair anyway.

  13. Samoa is pretty weak in women's rugby sevens, to the point where they could realistically finish last in the final qualifier. is a better Pacific nation and that's not saying much either. Predicting rugby sevens is a fool's game, but I can use a laugh in a few months Let's see how far off I am...

  14. Milei is going to be the last nail in Argentina's coffin. Talk about getting out of a bad situation choosing the absolute worst possible option. It pains me to even imagine what Argentina will become in the next few years, but it will be a lot more painful to actually watch it happen before my eyes. May God help them, even though God is not responsible for their bad choices.

    [OFF TOPIC] Politics Thread

I was right about the difference, should have bet on it The swing voters who voted Peronism/kirchnerism 4 years ago and Macri 8 years ago and Kirchner before that now opted for change over fear. Hope this guy can turn the economy up, the political and social side will be a mess no matter what.

  23. There are 4 ranking events left taking place from Jan-Apr next year - Continental Championships (Points factored at 0.75) and three Nations Cups - Adelaide, Hong Kong & Milton (Points factored at 1.0) Teams will count their scores from the continental champs and their 2 best results from the nations cups. So each nations final ranking point total will comprise of: 2x Continental Champs 1x World Champs 2x Best Nations Cup 2023 2x Best Nations Cup 2024

  34. Exactly 30 years ago Romania needed a win in Wales to qualiy for 1994 World Cup. We won 2-1 in Cardiff. The national coach then was Anghel Iordanescu and one of the scorers was Gheorghe Hagi. Today we qualified by exactly same score, 2-1 away, the national coach is Anghel Iordanescu's son, Eduard Iordanescu and one of the scorers is Gheorghe Hagi's son, Ianis Hagi😁. What a great story in our fotball😍
